So my chances are pretty high for this possibly happening. Summer school ends on the Thursday of the event which gives me good time to make it there on time if I leave Thursday. My mom has this other trip planned for Florida on July 23 so if I wanted I could stay for a whole week so no worries about getting back home in a hurry. So there aren't any scheduling obstacles.

I just need to talk to her about my money. I should have an extra $1,992 by July 2nd in total which I think for this whole thing I'd only need a reasonable portion. Luckily, two months in advance discussing this should help her adjust.

So basically the only thing in the way is how much access I'll get to this money and if my mom will let me take a majority of it out for the event.

So yeah, I'll let you all know how it goes down. Hopefully things turn out good.
