How about Ys Origin? I see it's 40% off so I'm gonna wait until later if it goes even lower, but I want some opinions.

It just became a 60% off Flash Deal. I can't speak for the quality at all, though.

hey y'all. i'm looking for a good gaming laptop, for around $2500 total. the reason i need a laptop and not a desktop is because i am not often home, often across town or out of town. what is the best for the price? so far ive managed to find a pro-star-clevo rig, about my pricerange, with:

2.6 ghz i7 processor(will overclock to 3.0)
12 gb ddr3 ram
4 gb nvidia 680m video card
120 gb ssd (i already have a usb 3.0 TB drive)

is there a better option for a gaming laptop?

:phone:

We can roll new characters. I am very much down. Borderlands is one of my favorite games ever. I've got like 300 hours invested in that game. >_<

Everything looks pretty good. Though I don't know about the processor, I have no idea what the best processor is that you can for a laptop so for all I know it might actually be a really good processor. Plus 2500 dollars is incredibly expensive.

to answer your last question, yes there is (always) better, but then you're quickly talking about $4000.
which i7 is that specifically? there have been 3 series so far. also unless the stock speed is already close to 3GHz, overclocking a laptop soundsl ike a bad idea.

its the third generation of i7 processors, and it has an intel 'boost' feature which boosts it to 3.3. I think i'll be set for every game i'm ever going to want to play.

Oh ok, yeah you should be set then. The only downside is the price. But its your money.

The Unreal series just went on a Flash sale. I already bought Unreal Tournament 2004 in this sale, and it's awesome. It's definitely worth a look at its current price tag if you like fast-paced shooters and haven't tried it already.

Add me as a friend on Steam. If I see something relatively cheap on sale that's on your wishlist, I'll probably get it.

Jumpman I keep forgetting whether I have you added. =P

The Unreal series is one of my favorites. I've spent 2000+ hours on UT2k4 since 2005, and beat Unreal Gold when I got the bundle last year.

what's the difference between the 2nd gen i3 and 3rd gen i3? And are either of these decent processors?
Die shrink. slight performance gain or less power usage. if you have second gen its not worth switching I heard (running first gen here). And both have models in all price ranges (except very high-end)

Yeah, we're added. I'm currently going by (G-S.N) The Operator. I felt a little tempted to go back to GwJumpman but whenever I hop back in the Hale server I frequent, they're always like "Operator!" and they get all excited and it makes me feel important.

I'm a celebrity just like Emma Watson.

I picked up these, plus DLC for Tribes: Ascend and Sonic Generations and a few gifts, two of which I plan on trading away.

The creator of Super Mario Crossover is changing the game to feature his own sprites and level designs in order to be able to distribute it.

I understand why he's doing it - since he can't distribute or make money off it as long as it's other stuff...

But it's kind of funny how little he did to actually change the characters
