Just because a character has potential for a unique moveset doesn't change the fact that they are likely to be cloned. Look at Ganondorf. He's got so much potential for a totally unique moveset, but he was cloned from CF. Just because Daisy has her own potential doesn't make it that much less likely that they'll clone her from Peach and modify from there.

Daisy has less of a chance to show up in the roster than Waluigi (whose chances are slim to begin with), so it's pointless to expect her to show up any time soon. She's only appeared in spin-off games for years.

It feels good to find something that we can agree on for once.

On items, I would be interested to see if they expand the crate/barrel textures in the next game. No it is not anything major or game breaking, just a tiny curiosity I have.

We know from those who hacked the game that individual victory themes were planned at a point, I wonder if they would continue on with this in a future installment? Luigi, Ness, Toon Link, Wolf, and Ike are characters who I could see getting their own theme variations. Individual themes are really the next step beyond character entrances (which should not ever leave again).

we do need someone like that, because chances are, she will go seperate and play style would stand out. I really feel like making a moveset now.
luigi, ganondorf, galacta knight, lucas, wolf, works blike that basicly. and since clones are being added, daisy gets a better chance by nintendo. more anime reference like pikachu coming in, the red hat refers to ash's hat, or pokemon trainer's hat. and captain falcon gets FALCON PUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! and tell me, what game had falcon kick besides super smash bros? if the answer is none, that just gives daisy and pipplup a better chance by captain falcon. paper mario beats bowser jr to the sspot anyday. even tthough paper mario might become another clone of mario.

That's something that I would very much like to see, considering how awesome Meta Knight's version of the Kirby victory theme was. I would like to hear a metal version of the SMB victory theme, myself.

There is no actual tally of who had the most votes in the Brawl polls, the only character I know of who apparently had one of the greatest amounts of votes was Sonic. What is commonly mistaken for "votes" is actual the amount of times Sakurai mentioned a character in his journal:

Granted you will see that some did in fact become playable, a couple became assist trophies, and one was a boss. The rest were included in trophies, stickers, or in one fox's case a special taunt voice over. Megaman and Geno are third party obviously so therefore could not be implemented unless rights were given for Nintendo to do so.

Though he mentioned particular characters by name, there were many different reasons why he was discussing them. A majority of the time is what him responding to select character request froms people. Not all of them were positive either... *looks at Sukapon*

Sakurai changes his mind a lot, so the journal isn't totally reliable. But yes, the characters he knows are more likely to get in.

Anywho, what do people think about Mario newcomers? I think Dr. Mario is likely to make a return, with Bowser Jr. making an appearance as well. As I've said before, I'd love to see Rosalina, but it seems unlikely.

I think the two main candidates are Bowser Jr. and Paper Mario, and while I would far prefer Paper Mario I consider them about equal. Bowser Jr. is more well-known and he will probably have more roles than Paper Mario by SSB4, but he isn't exactly well-liked. Paper Mario has his own series on his back and is more significant to his own games than Bowser Jr. to his, and he's more well-liked by the people who know him, but he isn't as recognizable as Bowser Jr. I would rank Bowser Jr. over Paper Mario if I had to, but I think both can happen.

Peach: Peach's Rescue (As I call it)
Bowser: Airship Theme

Link: Zelda Theme
Zelda: Zelda's Theme
Sheik: Sheik's Theme

Pokemon Trainer: Pokemon Victory Theme
Jigglypuff: Sing's music

Ness: Smiles and Tears
Lucas: Theme of Love (Where it goes "Watashi wa inochi anata no")

item: dry shell
series: mario
features: its disguised as a green shell. when you throw it, it keeps moving. when it hits a wall, it breaks into pieces. then, it turns into dry bones, and it throw bones at everyone, if you let it live, it will multiply into 20 dry bones, and they will to drive the players off the stage forevever until they are defeated. so the players and CPU will work together to defeat the fleet.


item: pow block
series: mario
feature: pick it up, throw it anywhere, and aynyone touching any platfroms will take damage, and get sent flying upward.

returning item: barrel cannon.
series: donkey kong
feature: same as in melee

item: disaster ball
series: SSB4
feature: whoever breaks the disaster ball will be invincible against the effect.
flood:the entire stage becomes water. everyone is forever in drowning position
thunderstorm: everyone will forever trip, and lightning bolts strike random areas. and it can stun and cause serius knockback
quicksand: everyone that is touching the main platfrom of any stage will gradually sink into the stage. press the A button rapidly and quickly to attempt to get out. if your not quick enough, you die.
giga meteor: a giant meteor heads for th stage. when it lands, its instant KO for anyoone that doesn't dodge the attack.
huricane: it blows everyone to the left. no mater who you are, you can beat the hurricane
tornado: just like the one on hyrule castle in SSB64. the tornado is bigger, and it moves around.
snowstorm: a giant snowstorm covers the screen.it slows down the running speed, and take rapid damage. also causes freezing.


returning item: smoke bomb (previusly smoke ball)
series: super smash bros brawl
feature: throw the bomb and it explodes into colorful smoke thtat covers the screen. your character is all black. when the smoke turn black and disappears, everyone who doesn't dodge gets burned.

returning item: stock ball
series: super smash bros brawl
feature: it flies like the smashball. it appears only once per match. it can't appear in traing mode. whoever picks it up gains an extra life.

item: mona pizza
series: warioware
feature: it replenishes 300%

Paper Mario can be added in as a last minute clone as well, and it's pretty easy to bring characters in as clones. I mean, the characters they're cloned from aren't always obvious, but hey, look at Ganondorf... Should he want to have some clones added, there will probably be some better options for a clone.
