As long as movesets are for characters that are wanted in SSB4, I guess it technically relates to this topic.... :ohwell:

Items? The Furniture from AC. At first it appears as a leaf, but when thrown a random piece of furniture from the AC series pops out. Depending on what it is, it has different effects.

A Paper Mario assist trophy?

Well since Rawk Hawk from PM2 has already been said, what about Jr. Troopa from the original? He was the mini boss fight and he got more powerful every time. At one point he had wings and a spiked shell, then he got the magikoopa staff, you know.

Cool, now what should the ATs be for the other games?

Count Bleck, Dimentio, Shadow Queen..... There are some more for you. Can't tell you what they'd do, though. :laugh:

EDIT: Wow, I fail at reading comprehension. I'll think up some different ATs later on.

The Yoshi universe needs representation. In since characters are out of the question, ATs would work well.

Here are two I think are good: Rapheal Raven and Pak E. Derm

A new character isn't COMPLETELY out of the question, it's just far down the priority list behind F-Zero and Metroid.

But anyway...Shadow Queen should NEVER be an assist trophy. It would be like if Galleom came out of an assist trophy on Final Destination. No survivors.

EDIT: Ohmyfrikkinggawd... How many posts can show up while I'm typing? I dunno about having a shop. It could be good, but it would *probably* be more time consuming than challenging... Besides, doesn't every fighting game with unlockables do that? Or at least every SERIES? And if not all of them, then most of them?

Hey, that's actually a decent idea! Buying Alt. Costumes in the Smash Shops.
It's a Great Idea. Think About it......Peach could look like the Shadow Queen only 3-D and Bowser could look like Macho what his name from TTYD or Tubba Blubba but he'd still be Bowser just w/ blue skin and orange hair

There might be less of a need for texture hacks, then. :laugh:

Should shoppers be by series or character? I think series would be best.

Mario series -> Toadsworth
Zelda series -> Malomart
Pokemon series -> Nurse Joy
Wario series -> Mona
Yoshi series -> Kamek
Kirby series -> The painter
Fire emblem -> ???
F-zero -> The announcer from F-Zero GX
Metroid -> Baby Metroid

and so on.
for FE, I see one of the various units that don't fight but sell stuff doing it.

for metroid, it's either that commander from other M or those Ostrich and Mouse guys from Super Metroid/ Metroid fusion.

I don't think so. lol costumes should get mess up during fights.
PEOPLE! Don't you know how close we were to having this?

There's texture data that indicates that Meta's mask, Ike and Marth's swords, and Falcon's helmet were supposed to be cracked, and broken off after a set amount of damage. This is actually a very likely possibility for SSB4.

@scythe: 0_o Nurse Joy?!? Why the heck would she fight?

WARNING: LONG POST(I'm changing the subject to online)

Here's my idea for a waiting method for SSB4 online mode. In regular Brawl, once you create a room or join a room(with friends), you get placed in the wifi waiting room to smash Sandbag around. My idea of having people wait for others to register would go like this. You agree to join a room or you just created a room. So if you created the room, then you choose your character, set the rules of your match, choose the stage others will fight on, and then you're left to wait for however many people you requested to join the match. If you just joined somebody's room, then you choose your character and then you're left to wait.

So basically, while you're waiting, you don't get placed in the Wifi waiting room and just fight Sandbag. Instead, as soon as you create/join a match and are waiting for others to register, you see a blank white screen with the pause menu that is styled a la Training mode in front of you with these options:

Stage: You must select this option first before you select anything else. No other action can be done if you do not complete this option first. So basically, you choose from the list of stages and the blank white screen now turns into the stage you selected from the list. As soon as this option is selected, your selected character will appear on the stage you chose.

Character: You have three slots for three different characters to choose for since you can have up to 3 CP's. So since you can have up to 3 different CP's, you can have three different characters to fill up this spot.

Computer Level: If you're not planning to have the CPU action to "Control", then you can set the computer level of the computer you might be facing. You have to have at least one opponent on the screen whether it is controlled by a player or whether it's a CPU.

Speed: Options range from x1, 2/3, 1/2, 1/4, x1.5, and x2

Items: Items will still play the same as how they did in the training mode before but with one major upgrade(At least I think it's an upgrade). With past installments, you picked an item from the list of items they had and it would appear. Now there are four options added. These options are:

1. None: If you choose this, then nothing will appear. Pretty obvious.
2. Low: If this is selected, then instead of items only appearing because you select them from the list, now all items appear randomly from the sky just like vs. mode. If this is selected, then random items will continually fall from the sky unless you set this to option to #1. IMO, this would help the Training mode be more of a "training" ground, because you would practice just like you would in the vs. mode. This would also help the online waiting process by giving much more options instead of just Sandbag in one stage.
3. Medium: Same as #2.
4. High: Same as #3.

Number of CPU's: You can set up to 3 CPU's just like last time. But this time, they don't have to be three of the same characters., they can be three unique characters.

CPU Damage: Same as before

Camera: Before whenever you paused, it zoomed up on your character and nobody had control of any of their characters(when the CPU was knocked off and you paused it, they couldn't recover and just died). This time, the pause button for this online feature and for the Training Mode actually pause the current match that is being played. It also doesn't just zoom up on your character. Now, it shows the Training mode pause screen while the camera during the Training session is still the same way. It only zooms in if the camera was set to zoom.

Reset: Reset all settings you just set.

Help: Same as Brawl's Training mode

I seriously think if this option was implemented instead of the previous Sandbag in Wifi Waiting Room, then people would actually have fun waiting for people to register because you now have so many options with this system. You could potentially play a match through this system if you think about it. Choose a stage, 3 unique CPU's , set items accordingly, and there you go. Oh and BTW, these are just some of my ideas for smash's possible future online mode. I have many more ideas concerning the online that I might post more. But this is my idea of a waiting function. I think it's much better than Brawl's waiting system. Thoughts?

Right behind you with a knife.
The next game's waiting room probably won't have all that much to do besides the sandbag. As it is, you're really not supposed to spend that much time in there as it is, and the only reason you should be stuck in there is due to bad connections, which would be the real thing to work on. Quite frankly, the sandbag is good enough, though I agree you should be able to grab that friggen sandbag. .

In my opinion, the waiting room just needs to be fixed so that it isn't Sandbag, but more like training mode (with random CPU's). This way you can practice fighting before a match more accurately, and you can actually grab. Also, they would operate like standard training partners, and recover when knocked off the stage.

I agree they probably won't change it.
