where do we draw the line between "knowing" a character is better and most likely to place higher.
I don't think marth is more likely to place higher than falcon peach, although he is better.
Kniht-thanks yea, I didnt kno. the confusion does 1.5 back. I used a charge shot fresh(25) and it did 38 damage when it hit.

Very fast, albeit short ranged, attacks.
Ganon just...catches people off guard. If you play it slow and don't rush into his baits you are going to find more openings to get a hit than him

The list you just posted reminds me a lot of the one m2k posted, and looks fairly accurate for the current metagame. After those few debates between tied characters (falco/fox/puff, falcon/peach, etc) are sorted out, I don't think too many people would disagree, especially considering recent tournament results. If anyone has any serious objections, they should go ahead and post them.

Everyone knows Peach is higher because she doesn't suck wieners like Ganondorf.
edit: Actually, I can't say that. She's probably straight, all things considered, so she's probably fellated at some point in her life, but Ganondorf is a bad character. Peach is also a bad character, but she has dumb moves to mitigate her badness.

I would definitely argue for Doc over Ganon and Samus, but they're all three easily within reaching distance of one another.

yea, I hate how peach haas stupid good moves when characters like mewtwo get a move like confusion. its bad in every single use in 1v1.
also im sure she domed up luigi and probably bowser. mario only gets cake

My reasoning is that if we do go off tournament results as the main contributor to ranking, Falcon is like 4rth in the game or something. Which is, IMO, inaccurate. Ganon is also like 6th or so, since Linguini and Kage have good representation for him. I certainly do not feel Ganon is 6th.
I tend to think that matchups vs the high/top tier are the most important elements of a character and Marth does better than Falcon in a few notable ones (namely the space animals, but I also think he's better vs Peach and maybe Puff though Puff is ultimate gray area so I'm not touching that one). Because of this, I think he's a significantly better character.

I can dig it. I think I may have said this before but I tend to take the order of the MU chart ( assuming fairly accurate) then move characters down if they don't have tournament representation
I see that as fair to have marth above falcon/peach tier.I guess he is just caught in the middle.
I think your list is pretty solid. I think the only possible disputes would come from low tier.
might as well rank garbage tier by where they stand on the MU chart.

marth is only good vs noobs if you know what's up it's easy, but if your a noob marth is impossible to beat.

however I feel marth is like pichu the way they both have more poteial than is being used. how many marths don't mess up on chain throws/edge gaurd/spacing? And how many pichu's even know how to do the double up-B AND use it to recover when they wouldn't normally recover?
very rare both players don't know what's up and has the skill to put into place.
also falco is the most intresting top tier charcter to me people don't really do everything as him. as falco I sometimes start spaceing f-tilt(if they don't have greater range than that) very carefully I normally get a good 30% and force them closer to the edge. what's cool about f-tilt besides it's useful range is the fact if your to close to laser safly then f-tilt gives you that space and is one of your safest options. if they don't know what's up you can f-tilt them against FD like your a cPU it's mad funny do that and grab them out of side-B recovery and they will think your a robot and be afraid.
just me but I think falco is still somewhat untapped. only f-tilt with better frame data is sheik's. gay

This does seem to be somewhat true. Most Falcos seem to either be a "laser Falco" or a "Pillar Falco" or etc, etc... However, it seems really rare that any one player is a true all-around Falco incorporating all of his tactics into a single, all-emcompassing gameplan.

WTF??? Spacing is so important If you can't space well simply get ***** no worder they are getting ***** that's one thing I do as falco space without spam. However I wish I could combo as well 
how does everyone else do it? in 1/4 speed I can clearly see nair nair is a combo vs puff but why can't I??? how do all the cool kids get their combos down???
