Surges in metagame happen cyclically and the vast majority of the community are thus swayed, Falco will fall out of favour soon. Whether he should or not is an entirely different issue.

Well Fox hasn't had a surge in his metagame forever now. For as long as I can remember(2008 or so) Falcos have always been doing better than Fox's. It just seems silly that Fox is still #1 on the tier list.

Well ****. He's one of the best characters at approaching (lasers and stuff), camping (lasers and stuff), comboing, has a good mixup recovery game (shine stalls, shortened phantasms, low angled firebirds, other ****), shield pressure (dem shine-grabs and other pillaring nonsense), etc.

And tournament placings with Falco basically solidify him as THE top character. ROM4 anyone?
