And I agree. Peach/Puff is disgusting. But just watch some double Peach vids of MacD and Connor....dear god...that team should be outlawed.

Yeah I know what you're thinking. Gee, nobody's ever thought of that before. The only character with the potential to heal himself! He could be broken stock tank!
Okay, problems with that:
1) Falco doesn't shoot quickly enough. You'd need someone who heals an assload quickly. Basically that limits this to Ice Climbers, Samus, or Fox. Since Samus or ICs with Ness is absolutely stupid in and of itself (on the former it's food for Sheik or Puff teams, the latter nobody can 2v1) we basically get Fox Ness.
2) Ness contributes almost zero onstage presence other than being able to stick Fair out somewhere. He doesn't control a significant space very well.
3) He sucks at 2v1s. Massively.
4) Healing doesn't matter when every character can gimp him super easily and kill him at zero.
5) Fox can't save him without putting himself at serious risk.

I'm not stupid huh, it's pretty obvious I'm not the first one thinking about that, but I never saw that mentioned anywhere, in a bad or good way.
Just wanted to know if that fkn heal could balance a little more with Ness shortcomings in teams, but I guess it doesn't...

I'd say 55-45 but I've also never seen a Marth play that match-up well. Then again, Marths don't play any match-up well except vs Fox/Falco.

Kirby, Bowser, Ness, Pichu in some order. I personally think Bowser's the worst character for competitive play because he's the easiest to never get hit by if you decide to camp him on a big level but maybe that's just me.
The ties:
ICs are better with wobbling. I think they're close without. Falcon losing CP stages with APEX ruleset hurts him and it benefits the ICs IMHO.
Mario can always do something about the situation he's in whereas Luigi sometimes just sucks because he's a linear character with only one way of moving around effectively. Luigi's stuff is generally more powerful in terms of raw strength, however. Luigi is more vulnerable to extremely cruel camping strategies that aim to limit or prevent him from establishing a good position, but Mario doesn't really have threatening positions unless the opponent is offstage. Pick your poison. Doc is way better than Mario; it's not really close at this point.
Yoshi:
Better combos on FFers. I think his shield is better than Link's at high level play. Maybe better than Y Link but I don't know. I think Y Link is better against Sheik and the floaties (includes ICs) so that gives him the edge over Yoshi. I think Yoshi is bad against ICs because they break his armor early and their grabs are incredibly cruel to him (I dunno if Yoshi's planking remedies this). Yoshi is probably better against the FFers, I think. Don't have any idea of how they each play vs Marth so I'm not even gonna try.
Ganon:
Is not that good IMHO. I might be underrating him but it feels like his only good thing is winning for no reason. Pikachu comparatively has better raw power in a lot of situations because of his stronger gimping (it even works on floaties!), better tech chasing (Pikachu has the speed to do it on reaction in more situations and therefore get guaranteed follows), and better edgeguarding overall.

Ness dies at 0 too easily for him to be better than G&W. G&W can also CG Sheik and has throws that work on floaties before 130%+
