HBC said it needed to udpate and after it did It brought me to an options screen. I decided to install bootmii so I did. Now HBC won't run. I also Reinstalled HBC and installed the third thing on the menu. What did I do?

Is there a code that reverses the order of name tags in the character select screen??

i.e. The first name that is added is always at the top of the list.

Could someone somehow dissect the Brawl+ codes, or point me in the right direction, so that I can find the portions of code that fix chaingrabs and chain release grabs? I would very much like to implement this without using all of Brawl+. (I imagine it is part of the hitbox data modifier or the speed modifier, but I can't tell what because none of that is labeled. Oh, how I would love for it to be labeled.)

Most of the chaingrabs were removed by physics changes, rather than a specific code designed to remove them. A happy accident, so to speak.

I know grab releases were standardized to a 30 frame release, but I'm not sure what code did that. Sorry I can't help beyond that.

Aw man, I suspected as much. Thank you for your help regardless.

In that case, my request becomes: could a coder out there furnish me with the hitbox data for DeDeDe's and Falco's down-throw? That way I can eliminate those two chaingrabs. And I know modifying throws that way is possible, because I've got hitbox data for Bowser's throws. Thanks much!

Is there an infinite replay code that adds the replay icon to the ending screen? And also are there any to make the other levels of the target test besides lvl 1 available for gameplay?

Some throws have hitboxes. This is not the same as every throw having a hitbox. A trivial example is Luigi's backthrow - during it, he spins the opponent around. Anyone who comes in contact with the opponent during this time takes damage. This is a hitbox of the throw. Increasing the damage of it does not serve to increase the knockback of the throw (except in the context that the opponent will be at a higher % damage as it dealt more in some cases).

Um... ok. The .gct file is the code file, so swapping that out for a different .gct with only the codes you want activated will work. Although I would strongly recommend giving brawl+ a solid try out before dismissing it.

I would like this replay code too; I used to have one but I accidentally replaced it. Also, has anyone made a code that spawns a CPU you could fight in the wifi waiting room? I think that'd be more fun than tossing the sandbag around. XD

Does anyone have a properly organized .txt of the most recent official brawl+ build? Also, do you need to do anything different to turn off/on codes now that it uses geckoOS 1.9?

Hey i don't know if it is possible to code, but how about more than four players in a brawl+ match? I mean like four people playing with game cube controllers and four others with wii controls.

Ok so I spent pretty much most of the day hunting down this Custom Stage Select Screen code, and I'm kind of confused about some parts of it, because where I got it from, didn't really explain it/left parts out.

So I think I've pretty much figured out that the ZZZZZZZZ lines are for example, 0B0B1E18 if I wanted Norfair and Skyworld next to each other since it goes Level ID then Icon ID.

But what I don't get is what the bolded lines are for (WW, VVVVVVVV, NN, MMMMMMMM, YY and ZZZZZZZZ since bold is completely clear):
Code:

Could someone help me and clarify this, or link me to where the original explanation of the code is?

I didn't even know there was a custom stage select screen code, I was hoping there was though. Somebody please explain how to use it! (I want to have "brawl stages" be starters and "melee stages" be counterpicks if it's possible.)

Ok so this still is pretty confusing, I just copied and pasted what was in the description. I'm still not sure what the M,N, V, W, and Y lines are for. It doesn't really explain it, the whole thing is just real jumbled together.

No, the one I posted is to make a Custom Stage Select Screen, like you can make a Custom Character Select Screen.

And I just realized, I have, and have been using the code you've been looking for.

here it is:

Code:
Button Music Modifier
284DE4B0 0000YYYY
4A000000 90180F06
14000076 FF00XXXX
E0000000 80008000

Replace the Y's with one of the buttons below and replace the X's
with the song's number. Holding that button while a stage loads will
play that song.
0080 - No Button
0081 - D-Pad Left
