If you could PS in a 10 frame window, you could just shield --> drop shield --> shield --> drop shield over and over cause shield drop lag is 7 frames lmao

Yeah, PSing in Melee is more frame tight. You kinda have to desensitize yourself to almost getting hit by projectiles. I don't even try to PS physical hits.

Holy deal @ people saying he's autistic still; he's not. He has a few traits indicative of autism, but he isn't autistic. I'm around autistic people, all over the spectrum, on a regular basis and he's not the same.
What kind of job do you have that puts you around autistic people regularly?

Wait a second...

ZSS' arm is extended way far out for a few frames and is completely vulnerable at the front to sexy disjoints like Marth's neutral air which is sooo good at punishing the ***** on reaction. While more obvious than down smash, Zero Suit's grab and side b also have these massive vulnerabilities due to extending hurtboxes -before- the grab/hitboxes come out.

Power shields can occur for the first 3 frames of shielding.

Also Mew2King is probably the best player in the world in pause matches. He is so good/precise at it from all the years of mereee.
Responding to every conversation that ever happened at once... :awesome:

Well unless there's some bizarre situations where the mechanics of it change

Shield @ frame 0
Frames 1-3 power shield
4-7 Forced shield time
8-15 (I think its 7 frames cooldown on shield drop) "shield drop frames"
16 - can reshield

I am clearly wrong. Ignore that, though I could have sworn I've seen that number many a time...

Mario's SJP hits on frame 3 and is also invincible from frames 3-6. See? Frame data knowledge being put to good use to see exactly which UpB's can punish ZSS' dsmash OoS. :bee:

Marth's upB does work because the invincibility lasts through frame 5, which is exactly when the hitbox comes out. It's why Marth can do janky things, like upBing straight out of the middle of Ike's Aether. :awesome:
When I was reading posts on that topic, it made me think of this:

Otori vs. Mikeneko

Jump to 0:35 or so. It happens the first time at 0:40. It's not big or anything, though it happens a couple times in this match, it's just funny to watch. :p

Every character (except apparently Charizard?) can use their jumpsquat frames as a buffer window for an aerial/special/airdodge/other stuff you can do in the air.

Yeah thanks but I know that, but I never had any problems with Charizard, even when I buffer an U-air (by pushing the stick just a bit), so I don't understand. :/

The concept is the same, but there's some subtle differences in behavior between powershielding (not just the projectile reflection).

I'm very good at this. You should see my psychic DPs - I psychically make people attack at my DP.

Doesn't it have something to do with shieldstun and shield KB?
Somewhat, but a little more specifically with the complete lack of shield interaction whatsoever when you reflect a projectile.

A psychic double penetration dragon punch is when you dragon punch because you think the other person is going to attack you (it's not in reaction) and you want to use the invincibility frames to beat their approach

Classic example is dragon punching when you think Dhalsim is going to attack you with his stretchy limbs

It's cool.

Everyone thought i was a woman too.

I wasn't always Papa Mink.
haha I get that a lot, too.
I'm pretty sure the people from the brawlcustommusic team still think I am female...

@the DP: A dragon punch requires a DPMotion, or Dolphin Slash/Shuttle Loop count as DPs?

dolphin slash, shuttle loop and super jump punch all count as DPs yes.

unless the context is, 'you perform this move in the game with a DP motion' then typically the term DP is used to describe any fast upward type hitting move that probably has invincibility on it that people use with they need a get out of jail free card.
