ugh, i hate those fanboys, theres a bunch in the sonic boards that admit tot the fact that they will brainlessly spend all their money on everything that comes out with sonics name on it.

I hate ROB as a character and I think the concept for him was dumb as hell, but I dont call him a bad character in the game for it...

I was never talking about whether or not he's a good character. Somebody said it sounded like I hate sonic, and I informed them that I do, in fact hate him, and gave reasons. That has nothing to do with my opinion about how good or bad he is in brawl.

Speed times people out because hes a stupidly defensive player.

dude would time people out with fox and donkey kong if he played them.

every sonic times one or 2 people out from time to time simply because he cant kill well and people play way too safe sometimes. but its not like he gets an astronomically higher number of time outs than any other character.

I actually love Sonic's character, but I don't like him at all as a Brawl character. If Tails were in smash...oh my God.

Sonic Colors was also a really fun game. Just sayin'.

Wario is not that bad for Sonic. Im not as confident in that matchup from both sides like Malcolm considering he's played both characters extensively, but I don't think Wario poops on Sonic.

The roughest MU Wolf has is D3.

Lucario is bad, no denying that. same goes for ICs, but the severity of each of those matchups is a big topic of debate.

where as I thik the ICs are a hard counter and lucario isnt that bad.

regardless, neither of those 2 matchups are as bad as ddd vs wolf.

Pika beats D3 fairly bad. Outside characters he 0-deaths its probably his best MU or at least top 3.

Just because Larry is the better Falco, doesn't mean he's the best at the Sonic MU. That's like saying Anti and Nairo are better MKs because they have a better record against ADHD than M2K.

Lucario and Falco aren't THAT common. Especially Lucario. Any Lucario I encounter around these parts usually play Metaknight throughout most of the tournament. Plus, a halfway decent D3 that plays gay enough will drop a turd on Wolf.

Yeah, Lucario is... kinda underused lately. At least in the NYC area. I'm pretty sure I'm the only Lucario main remaining here; everyone else either gave him up for some other character or is completely inactive...

Falco's used enough around here though. Enough to the point that I decently know how to play the matchup at this point, anyway. Plus I don't see him underused anywhere else around the nation. He definitely sees his fair share of use.

You gotta look at it quantitatively. Lucario's only used 3.3% of the time. Falco is used 4.5% of the time. We see Lucario used, just not too often and definitely not as often as Falco.

And Macolm, you're thinking of NJ. We don't have that many MKs in the NYC area.

Esam beat Lee's Lucario.

Lee's Lucario is good, but he's not very good MUwise (imo his best MUs w/ Lucario are Falco, Marth, ICs and maybe MK, but I feel he lags behind in most others and relies on raw skill to muscle his way through). He doesn't use Lucario often, so that's understandable.

lol I remember someone on commentary saying "WOW Lee Martin combo", and all the lucarios were like "Dude that's ooooooooooooooooold news, every lucario does that lol".

He was throwing up/sick at that MLG event.

Untrue. The only D3 that has ever given me trouble is Coney and we used to play for hours every week in the fall and winter. If the Wolf knows the matchup then it's still not as bad as people make it seem. It's not anywhere extremely bad as Fox vs Ics/Sheik/Pika. It's more or less like Falco's bad matchups with Pikachu and Ics (Falco isn't that bad with either character) except we can't be 0-deathed. It seems people have this given mentality that ever since Kain vs'd Coney at SiiS4 that the match is terribad. Coney has played me to the point I know everything he is going to do and he learned how to fight Wolf from me, so it's no surprise he beat Kain who doesn't have as much experience in the matchup. Realistically there are almost no D3's in the midwest. I can't even name more then like 3-4 GOOD D3's off the top of my head in all of North America. Yes D3 beats Wolf, but not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be O_O. If you pick D3 on me then you better know the matchup.
