I was young too when I played it. I was never able to find the last emerald on the second to last level and always got the bad ending. After months of trying I finally found it and manage to get the good ending and never again touched the game again.

The call for a universal LGL is an insane overreaction. It was beatable, RB just didn't think things through completely. If we're suddenly moving on to "ban it if it's insanely gay", I demand that MK is banned. And Olimar. And ICs. And D3. And Falco.

Yeah your right. I over look he is a steel type so it would be neutral.

Though if they do engage in combat it would be a battle on who has the bigger balls. Mewtwo's Shadowball or Lucario's Aura Sphere.

that aside no1 but mk is truly even with mk. and even then lower port has more nado priority iirc. meta is always just that much better than everyone else. characters like fox, diddy, pika, and falco all have their little niches that give them more of an edge than other characters that's for damn sure. but honestly mk is equal with none

Why do people seriously care about DK planking Olimar? Sure the matchup would be in Olimars favor and its 1 simple thing ****** him in the matchup but we CLEARLY allow that already in most cases. Sheik is a crummy character that would most likely get ***** by Falco and Fox, but her Ftilt lock makes the matchups even or better for her. What about Yoshi's chaingrabs? There is alot of easy no-skill stuff that can COMPLETELY shift matchups by themselves and we allow it. Dk planking Olimar is just one of those things. If a top this was a top Sheik beating DEHF or a top DDD beating Will/Xyro/Boss, no one would care.

May I also point out that if I miss that SIX FRAME WINDOW and don't have PERFECT spacing on my fsmash, DK can hit me with anything he wants from the ledge? And if my fsmash does connect, it does barely any damage/knockback, and he can just grab the ledge. Same goes for trying to dtilt.

I MMed Will later, and I tried the Uair thing actually... And while it worked once or twice, it also means using my double jump offstage, and when I barely got tapped by DK (who's just mindlessly doing the same input over and over) I LOSE MY STOCK.

I'm honestly dumbfounded that you are all still trying to find ways of how Olimar can technically beat this and justify what happened. Me, Will, and Xyro, the main 3 people involved, ALL AGREE THAT NO LGL IS A TERRIBLE RULE.

Banning something like planking is different from banning a whole character. Although in some ways I do agree with you.

I don't see a lot of Olimar and Pikachu around here, so I wouldn't know, but what exactly makes this matchup so good for Olimar?

Pikachu's lack of range, the fact that his jolts are nulled by any Pikmin (especially yellow), meaning his only real option would be to somehow worm his way into Olimar's defensive walls.

Olimar also has an easy time getting the KO on Pikachu. At least, in comparison to Pikachu getting the KO on Olimar.

Does Pikachu get any chaingrabs off on Olimar? I'd assume fthrow > usmash works at lower percents, but I wanna really make sure.
