Tonight I hosted a gold coin entry PM tournament at UTS Late Night Sessions. Turned out to be quite successful. I'm going to attempt to evolve this into a weekly occurance. Here's the results, I'll be uploading some of the sets later.

Reposting what I wrote in the Facebook event:

As usual, PM will start about an hour after Melee/Wii U to avoid clashes in players for both Doubles and Singles.

We had a huge setup problem last tournament so I need all hands on deck for setups. I have 5 Wiis confirmed so far: My own, Phibzy's, Lux's, Cole's and Ryzuul's. Ryzuul is also additionally bringing a CRT. I might be able to bring one or two more Wiis + CRTs depending on whether Noser is coming. Thanks everyone.

Additionally, I seem to have misplaced the power cable for my recording device at UTS last night. Can anyone that goes to UTS please check in the chest or drawer where the wiis/power cables to see if it's there? It's a small black transformer with a cable coming out of it, I believe I left it plugged into the 8 slot black powerboard.

I really need this back guys. Thank you so much.

Thank you everyone for participating in the Project M Brackets today! We got a nice 21 entrants which was great for such a small tournament over all. We also ran doubles with 6 teams. Using the EGG room was great as we got plenty of room to spread out and 7 PM setups meant that we were able to run pools and finish within an hour! Please note I accidentally reported Sora as the winner of set 2 of GFs initially on the Challonge, this has been amended but the preview image on the SmashBoards bracket is still incorrect.

Yeah, Hippy left the venue probably without realising there was an amateur bracket. Honka played in his place, so all games marked as Hippy in the amateur bracket were actually Honka. I'd like Honka to be correctly attributed to winning the amateur bracket because she's the one that did all the work, including trouncing me in the final

As always, I will be running the Project M Brackets this weekend. Doubles will begin at around 11-11:30am and singles will run from 2pm, we will likely run pools as well.

We had a nice amount of setups last time (around 7 setups) and it helped us run pools in a very small amount of time. Keep up the consistency guys, it really helps.

Keep in mind we're still running the Sydney Smash 3.6 for the foreseeable future. See you guys all there!
