ok finally read through the whole discussion, and SD i understand the situation, I am fine to stay with Tim however I am not much of a fan of 2D fighters other than smash but if we end up over SDs place on saturday that ok.

if I find a place to stay for sat night, I will be leaving on an early train on sat morning for this which should get into the area around 10-11am. is someone able to pick me up from the station?

Tim can i get confirmation that it is ok to stay with you since Sam and Andrew are booked?

Also is housing available for both sat night and sunday night?

anyways I turns out I have to work on the saturday before the tourney so I cant come down and stay on the sat so it looks like my spot at zero's is free BUT I might (yes might, its a maybe dont hold me to it) be driving down with jambo so I'll prob's still be at the tourney, but depending on shaya I may need to stay at zero's on the sunday night if shaya is (and if its cool with zero) because I arranged for the week off work after this tourney and I'm supossed to be staying with shaya at his place on the monday and tuesday and then with toby on wednsesday thursday and friday (epic week of training).

anyway I think thats whats happening, can toby and shaya get back to me on that plz.

also I think shadow moses should be in the counter pick, it always has been a counter pick and how hard is it to just say no wall infinte dog**** combo's, everyone in the scene is decent and doesnt spam overpowered hax tactics.
also onett should be in too

melbourne is good cause like pretty much every stage is on neutral and you have to man up.

Shadow Moses is an epic stage, Ive never been infinited on it, except against d3 on wifi, so LOL TO YOU GUYS.

I too find doubles more fun.

Shadow Moses is uber gay and banned everywhere except for here. There is good reason for this and obviously nobody is going to accept that the Snake main has no bias on the issue

So Meteor, your over all issue with the stage list is whilst against scrubs you can't be like LOLDUNTCARE SPEAR PILLAR! Knowing you'd win anyway?

And, tedeth can back me up on this one, I know everything that is gay in this world, and not having onett isn't one of them (note the double negative).

Shadow Moses was quite the lolexperiment. It shows how easily a scene can take almost any stage list. I've learnt to love it for what it is: a stage where you can't get gimped, and the main point of killing is vertically. Giving emphasis on characters with bad/subpar recoveries and overall good vertical killing potential. It's the anti metaknight stage that I'm practically fine with playing metaknight on. Metaknight has beaten the stage in my opinion. Shuttle loop out of shield is perhaps one of the safest kill moves in the game, and has super gay range.

The infinite part has less impact on me than Corneria... At least there is a large space on the same horizontal plane to avoid the wall(s), unlike that area on corneria.

But still the mass has SHPOKEN!

As for doubles, well, I really don't think we'll get through the rest of the tournament if there was doubles, Melee singles and Brawl singles. It would be a choice between Brawl doubles and Melee singles, since I do want to try out the single RR. If everyone Sydneysider was being hosted by someone for both days, then it would be possible.

@Sam: I don't think I'm experienced enough to make informed decisions on stage lists. :\

One week to go, tourney starts at 9am sharp. Everyone who plans to come should have accomodation sorted by now.

edit: IMPORTANT!!!! People walking from station please read!!!!
Looking at Zero's map, i noticed he started the walk from Homeville lane. To get to Homeville Lane you must walk north from the Telarah station to the New England Highway, across the bridge, and down John Street. There is no bridge linking the station to John Street, so you must walk up to the bridge on the highway.
Know what I'm saying?
Also, you get to walk along George Street, which is epic....
