I like the idea of the of a tournament on the 20th dec. I might be able to be here for the 7th, but very very unlikely.
Also agree if a one of those dates need to be canceled it should be 27th dec as it is at bad time of year.

be a "super relax deluxe" tournament.

Just Brawl Singles/Melee Singles.
We'll have some crew event happen in the morning before any brackets start,
and have another crew event/somthing after everythings done.

(Or maybe Brawl Singles, Melee Doubles? vice versa, whatever).

Huge energy post Rocky fizzled a bit last Boost, so I think this one should be about bringing the lolfun like "Green Greens Peach vs Fox double bomb KO"fun.

Any ideas suggestions for the pre-tournament event and post-tournament event... GO.

In short, you pick a partner and enter into a bracket. Standard tourney rules for all games (for 1 round), best of 3. First game is agreed on (or decided by rock paper scissors or something), losing team counterpicks the game. No game can be used again in a set if you already won using it. There's probly a lack of games for this...

my unnecessary review due to bordem :

Watched the brawl singles gfinals, used up my 12gig of download, was great . Well played Shaya and Ted, was alot of camp, and thusly not overly exciting to watch, but that's just the direction our metagame is doomed to go, don't get peer pressured into playing more aggressive, brawl is srs bsns . The tempo/action(?) did pick up in the last couple of games aswell.

It wasn't all bad from a spectator point of view, as a consolation prize for the >7minute matches, there were >7 minutes of lulz commentary as well as insights into the inner workings of Lukes stoner mind. The commentators should get half the prize money imo.

conclusively: if you wanna get a feel for what these matches are like, sit in training mode with the controllers unplugged for 8mins, whilst listening to weird al/flight of the conchords (or something). .

I'm yet to book.
It would be D0N's last possible tournament he could attend, so get some hype and love people.
Otherwise *sadface*.

P.S. I think I want to buy a bike, and get run over by planes/crazy taxi drivers as on the trip to Tobys to get drunk instead of wasting moneyz relying on silly half an hour waiting times or some crap after it gets late.
