Didn't him going into that final form = bankai pretty much? atleast thats what I got from it

The Hogyoku gave him those powers to transcend shinigami and hollow. But the howgyoku has also made him turn to a hollow now in order to not lose. If the hogyoku needs to make him back into a shinigami to win with bankai he will. if it was bankai, aizen wouldve announced it. Bankai is a pretty big deal.

@ Bleach discussion

The Hogyoku will likely be destroyed as a result of Ichigos FGT, in which cause I think Aizen will fall back to shinigami level but he'll be hurt, we prolly won't see his bankai yet.

Also Tatsuki stated before that she could feel an overwhelming reiatsu from Aizen, but nothing from Ichigo. In this chapter, Aizen explains that an evolved being can purposefully lower his reaitsu from 3D to 2D, which is what Aizen had been doing. Proof of that is later on in the fight Aizen explains that he's not even trying and he asserts if he so wished, he could "crush Ichigo with a single blow"

Also the issue with 2D an 3D is simple. Humans cannot see or sense Hollows, Shinigami, or + so we can surmise humans reside in the the 1st dimension. We were led to believe that there are only 2 dimensions that follow the same rules, but then we get introduced to the Kotoutsu. Gin describes that it cannot be destroyed by a shinigami as it exists in a different dimension. So we now have 3D's. I think.. it really has little to do with reaitsu levels, and more to do with potentials.

Just as Aizen pointed out that perhaps the true form of a zanpaktou is to be merged with its user, this is a potential for all shinigami just as reaching a higher existance is a potential for all beings.

Possibly. Either way, Kubo won't disappoint. We'll be seeing his Bankai soon enough, especially if this is Ichigo's last chance to use shinigami powers. Also, the royal guard have not been introduced into bleach yet. This gives me the thought that Aizen is gonna win this fight, kill the king, and take over the Guard. There are tons of Bankais we haven't seen yet, Kubo is a *** but he won't disappoint with Bankai's like shunsui and ukitake. If ichigo gets his powers back, I won't be surprised. it's bleach. Plus Uryu lost his quincy powers a while back and got his powers back.

I think what'll happen is Ichigo will die and since he's human, get reborn into soul society and get his powers and also retain his memories for some reason.

Yeah thanks dude, Chen told me too but net my laptop is messed up so all I have is my netbook and this crap can't seem to play vids correctly so imma wait a bit.
