Am I the only person that is hoping that the Donkey Kong game on 3DS rumor is real? I'd love to see some more Donkey Kong honestly, especially for platforming action on expansive enviornments. But I digress, as long there is something that will spark my interest in the future.
Also apparently a new Castlevania game called Castlevania: Mirror of Fate is currently being developed for the 3DS, and can supposedly connect to the Wii U version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Information is scarce however, but Konami might say something about this at E3.

I'm hoping that Mirror of Fate is real, a Castlevania 3DS game would be sick.

After SM3D Land, any platformer/3D sidescroller for 3DS gets me excited. Some of the stuff in that game is beautiful imo (both the clock and rotating block levels, and the last boss battle for example).
Also, anyone play the Rayman demo?
I found it to be really stupid. Granted, I only played like 2 minutes. But still. It didn't seem 3D at all and it was really lackluster.

The major beef I have with Rayman Origins on the 3DS is all the characters look way too small. Normally it would work on a big television screen to add a dynamic feel to environment, but on a handheld screen it makes everything too small to see. The controls also feel slightly delayed, but that might just be me.
I bet the rumor is true since it's DK and DK is kind of being revived now since DKCR came out. Even if it's not true I would expect a game franchise like DK to be out at some point in the 3ds's life.
Anyone played/tried Spirit Camera?
I was thinking about getting it, because it's from the same guy who made Fatal Frame. I've heard it has its share of technical issues though, so I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on it.

I'm sure it's coming. More of the question is when as Donkey Kong is a large enough franchise to expect a title. I have personally been playing a lot of Donkey Kong Country 2 lately, so a new title in the works would be great to hear about.

I'm hoping New Super Mario Bros. 2 does something different from the norm. Wario being the main antagonist would be a step in the right direction.
i hope they at least give us a more interesting P4 than...a second Toad -_-

Online co-op is something that Nintendo really needs to start putting in their games...It's one of the more enjoyable aspects to online gaming in general, and I would really enjoy playing through a game like New Super Mario Bros 2 with my buddies that live nowhere close to me now.
I highly doubt we will be getting any sort of online with New Super Mario bros. I would love to see co-op but I just don't feel like Nintendo's going to do it but who knows.

I think Nintendo will give us online co-op (they better.) It would be blasphemous at this point for them not. I mean, for goodness sake, get with the times. I might just notch the game 2 grade points down if they don't.

Well, if updating the 3DS and allowing patches for their games (MK7, in this case) is any indication that Nintendo is going in the right direction, then we can only hope they also make the right choices as far as online co-op goes. Of course, we have to remember that this is Nintendo we're talking about, so we can't have our expectations that high, but be grateful when said expectations are met.
Well, that is great news. That said, I wonder if they're going to do more Etrian Odyssey games. I loved those too.

Thanks to awesome deals at Newegg, I managed to preorder Theaterhythm and Kingdom Hearts 3D for $30 each, with free shipping!
I heard it wasn't worth getting, which is a shame. I'll be pissed if they were using that to gauge the market for a real 3DS Fatal Frame game, because it looks more like a tech demo than a game.

Seriously though, I really am hyped now that I know they're making a 4th one for the 3DS. I will be heartbroken if they suddenly decide not to release it in the U.S. though.

At least they don't force you to switch your system to the latest upgrade of it. And if I'm lucky, this will bump the price of the older 3DS's down
