The new firmware update went live earlier today. The folders are pretty nice. The eshop also got a new layout too.

You know what I'd want? The volume slider to actually raise the volume to a high level.

The 3DS has a new Mario Tennis Open panel. I guess that forces me to attend Connecticon if I want to get those pink pieces.
I just hope that the awesome human characters from the previous Mario Tennis games aren't replaced with Miis. :(

Jelly...

To make a folder, select an empty spot on the menu and then a "create folder" button should appear in the lower left.

I already organized my NES, DSi Ware, and GBA games into their separate folders. I gotta say, it makes life more convenient now that there's less clutter.

Is there a way that you can give ambassador exclusive games you don't like to a friend or anything like that? Is that what you were talking about?

Also I'm pretty happy with the fact that I can organize my menu now a lot better and that now games are going to get patches. (It's about time they catch up to other consoles)

One with eshop games, one with apps

Man, that's the color I wanted when they announced this thing. >.>

Nintendo if you're just gonna release these super sexy colors every few months I'm just not gonna buy consoles on launch anymore.

imo white is still the best color for 3DS, since the top screen area is always black anyway.

I was thinking if they ever came to release Majora's Mask 3DS (they will) I would 100% buy a Majora's Mask 3DS system.

MM has been confirmed for like half a year now. Miyamoto (or whoever top dog it was that said it) said that they'll remake it after the next original 3DS Zelda comes out.

Purple 3DS on its way?

http://ds.ign.com/articles/122/1223963p1.html

Looks alright...50/50 on it. Part of me thinks it looks sleek...other part no so much.
I really love the color. Considering purple is one of my favorite colors, it makes me want one, buuuut I already have my blue 3DS.
IIRC, The language used was not that conclusive, but they did positively acknowledge it and besides, why wouldn't it happen?
Even then, we do have Operation Moonfall, so it'll hopefully be as much of a success as Operation Rainfall. I mean, Zelda Williams herself is a full supporter of Moonfall, so that should count for something, shouldn't it?

Its a portable console made for the person holding it. You don't need to make it loud enough for everyone around you to hear it. So I would say it is loud enough. If you want to make it louder, just use headphones, which is usually what I recommend for portable games, as the speaker's sound quality isn't as great as a pair of headphones.

It bears mentioning that Luigi's Mansion 2's developer, Next Level Games, is Canadian.

From what I'm remembering, the 3DS is notably quieter than the DS and PSP.

I don't think 3ds is quiet at all.
I'd just get some in ear ear-buds if it's too quiet.

Oddly enough, I always play with the volume on mute if I'm out and about to conserve battery life. I only play with max volume when I'm at home, or at a friend's house, since I can just plug it into the wall and not worry about battery life, and in that situation, the volume is just fine.

I can't play without sound...I've realized I'm really dependent on sound and stuff.

Also is it just my 3DS or does any 3D classics game seem like it'll blow the speakers when the volume's all the way up? My DS literally vibrates.

I'm only like that when I want to focus on a game. Otherwise, when doing non-important things, like Mii Plaza-related activities, I don't care for sound.

I should definitely buy a 3D Classics game then, just to test it out for myself. I'm thinking Kirby's Adventure.

I want to get that, even though I know it's just the same old Kirby game :p

It is the same old Kirby game, but it's in 3D. So the 3D part doesn't matter, but having Kirby's Adventure in a handheld seems pretty neat.

I just checked out the new Club Nintendo titles. Really dumb that they have Urban Champion there.

I did get Pictobits. It's pretty good so far, I'm impressed. But I just know the later levels at higher speeds will be brutal.
