So now I'm trying to use my laptop as an access point for my 3DS, but I'm getting the generic Wifi error. My laptop sees that it's a 3DS, and has added the MAC address and everything, but my 3DS just can't make an actual connection. Anyone have experience with stuff like this?

Am I the only one who remembers how a lot of GBA games managed to shoehorn the word "Advance" into their titles? I think a lot of the 3DS's library will be like that only with "3D" in the titles instead.

I got it recently. 3DS is so awesome. When I saw the SSF4 gameplays.. the graphics were kind of jagged and meh.. but it didn't bother me. But, when I played the actual game. Omg, it looks amazing.

SSF4 3DS is mad addicting. Controls are a bit hard to get used to but wow they ported it from a console so perfectly: the link frames, hitboxes, etc. Its just a perfect portable game and an awesome portable system. I wish the buttons were larger though. I'd probably buy their 3DS XL.. that ****'s gonna be expensive..

Plus, Zelda, Kid Icarus, Star Fox, and hopefully Mario will be out by then, and they might be bundled during Christmas. I still have my DS lite with Pokemon Black to tide me over.

You and me both, however i think the only thing that could maybe happen would be the bundles. I have a hard time thinking they would do any price cuts for Christmas when they could sell a ton of units at the price it is at.

Buy a second hand. I'm sure there will be people tired of it by then. I bought a second hand.. some people got bored of it/got headaches from 3D and decided to sell it for 240 no tax. :D it's like they don't know about the 3D switch.

The entire time I've had my 3DS, I've had the 3D on for maybe 10 minutes total. I certainly didn't buy it for the 3D. It's a great system either way, and the 3D is just a little extra feature that I might use every once in a blue moon if I feel like it.

Like he said though, without the 3D isn't it the exact same as a DS, minus higher resolution and maybe a few little things here and there.

I asked the same question. Many believe it is due to there being so many more people that own a DS vs 3DS. However that game alone would have sold an ungodly amount of 3DS

Because Diamond/Pearl/Plat were based of the GBA game's engine, so they made an engine for the DS and had put a siginificant length of time into it, to then have the 3DS be 'developed' internally. Makes more financial sense to finish the one you're on and then start fresh as opposed to restarting.

Plus the fact that we can expect Gen 6 to be the biggest graphical leap in the series since Gen 2 ---> Gen 3 should give us a liiiite more motivation to buy the next games.

It's already been confirmed that there will most likely be no Pokemon Grey, which makes perfect sense when you think about it.

Making the same game as B/W for the 3DS would kill both B/W's sales, as well as take away sales from Gen 6 since it wouldn't have the hype of being the 3DS's first Pokemon game. Why make the same game anyway when you can start fresh again on an entirely new system?

Plus there's no point in wasting time on making Grey for the DS when GF has a whole new toy to play with in the 3DS. My guess is that they're ditching Grey entirely and focusing on making Gen 6 for the 3DS.

Ruby/Sapphire remakes can be expected somewhere far along the road in the future on the 3DS.

I honestly don't care about the 3D. I simply bought it because I enjoyed my DS; which means I won't mind having a better DS.
