i have a question

how does HSR work?

let's say i pick pikachu the first match and win. will they be able to pick counterpick stages if i plan on going falco the second match?

same with falco. if i choose him for the first match and i plan on going pikachu the second match, can they still pick a counterpick stage?

MMs so far:

Bizzarro Flame (Pika vs Ganon, $2)
durr (Falco vs ???, $?)
Little England (any chars, $2)

all HSR question will be directed to HugS. Pretty much, whatever he says goes. Unless it's too ridiculous

Champ, you list the same address for the venue as the one in the triweekly thread, but what room/building will the tourney be in? I'm assuming it's not the same one used for the triweeklies.

edit: Nevermind, I just noticed that the image says that you're still using room 58.

edit 2: Pools rounds are 3-stock? That's odd.

If you used Pikachu in a match you won, and they are counterpicking you, then they will not be able to go to a non-neutral, even if you plan on using falco. They should be aware that your Falco is an option when choosing the neutral stage. Advantage - Midtier

If you used falco on the match that you won, and you are being counterpicked, then you are not able to use the HSR for the following match, and they will be free to take you to a counterpick stage, even if you plan on switching to pikachu. Advantage - counterpicker

Pools:

* To summarize: you are playing a full, bracket-style set for each of your pool matches, and will be ranked primarily on the number of sets you win.

then that last line lies because a full bracket style match is 4 stocks, i'm assuming 3 stock pools is just a typo right?

I met soooooo many people! Awesome tournament. Only complaint was not being able to stay for Grand Finals/some friendlies just like every other tournament. Well ran though.

Connor- At the end of the day I was just like "peace!" and completely forgot you were leaving to Norcal! I wouldn't gave a biiiiiiiiig hug I'm sure I'll see you around though!

HugS- Who wins the Samus Falco matchup? GGs! I always learn a lot playing you. =D

First of all let me say that this tournament reminded me of how much more I enjoy melee tournaments than brawl tournaments XD. Sooo much fun but way too short . Didn't get in as many friendlies/MM's as I wanted.

I feel like my fox is improving pretty quickly and I'm looking forward to ****** you all in the future >:D.
