The rules for the columbus online ladder said that players could purchase a players pass reserved for them starting on the 26th, but I never saw any option anywhere to do so. Also it says the bracket starts today (27th), so I guess the bracket will be posted soon? It also says the bracket runs on a Tue/Thur schedule at 9pm, so I guess just be online and check GameBattles then? I've never done a GameBattles final bracket before.
You will receive an email concerning the reserved pass. The email will be sent to the email linked to your MLG Username. It will contain the instructions on how to purchase the reserved pass. I'll ask about the email today and when it will be sent.

I won 350$ at MLG Orlando, but since I am under 18 I am required to have my parents' signatures. MLG JV said to fax the sheets to him, however, the fax number did not work. Is there anyway I can physically mail it to a location, or speak to someone else from the MLG staff?
Please see your personal message. I have left the fax number again. You may have received the wrong number. The fax is working, so there should be no problem with it.

Is there any information how the wifi ladder placements will effect seeding at Columbus for those of us that weren't at Orlando (aka me lol). Lets say places 1 through 33rd at Orlando got points (idk the number, just an example). Would the first place finisher on the online bracket/ladder be getting something like 34th seed, or perhaps higher?

*waiting for the online bracket to start tomorrow, time to get firrrrrrssst
Players will be seeded using the following criteria, in this order: SSBB Pro Circuit Rank Points and SSBB Online Qualifier Rank Points. Ties will be broken using the next available criterion, or randomly if necessary. Players with no SSBB Rank Points will be seeded randomly. No Players will have SSBB Rank Points to seed the 1v1 Event until the 2nd Pro Circuit Competition.

Do the rule updates (most importantly not being able to CP a stage you already won on) apply to the online ladder as well? The bracket for it starts tonight and that rule is kind of crucial going in on a best of 5 against a MK with these stages on lol.

There's no mention of the rule anywhere on the rules page for the ladder.

what is the reasoning behind no pro players in C-bus?
If there were pro players in Columbus, that would be based off of just 1 event. After Columbus, the top players will be more solidified, which is why there will be Pro players after Columbus.

How are the winners of the championship event determined? Does the first place winner at the event get the $12,500, or whoever has the most rank points by the end of the event? I assumed the former, but you get rank points at the championship event with doesn't have a purpose unless it's the later.

Whats the policy on friendlies? When does warm up start and go until on Fri and Sat?
Although there is no schedule posted yet, there are usually warm-ups between 1:30 PM and 5 PM EST on Friday, and from 8 AM to 10 AM EST on Sunday. Additionally, if stations are unused, the tournament directors MAY allow you to use the stations to warm up (you will have to ask them at the event).

The last event (Championship Event) is open to everybody. There will be an open bracket in addition to the championship bracket.

The top 8 Players, determined by SSBB Pro Status Rankings, will receive Automatic Bracket Qualification for the Championship Bracket. Players without an Open Bracket Match loss will start in Championship Bracket Winners Bracket Round 1. Players who lose a Match in the Open Bracket will start in Championship Bracket Losers Bracket Round 1.

The winner of the event (not by rank points), will be deemed the National Champion of 2010, and will receive te 12,500$.

Does MLG have any plans of getting sponsored by something that's not gonna kill me? Like maybe water or Sun Chips or something?

I know that as of now MLG isn't allowed to post videos or stream brawl, but I was wondering do you guys still have videos from Orlando saved and lying around? Also what are the odds that Columbus will bring us a stream and or videos?

Yes, we do have the videos from Orlando, and if Nintendo authorizes us to post them, we will.

In addition, there are no new updates regarding the Live Stream for Columbus.

Question. If we pay for his entry and everything, is it legal to enter a Level 9 Snake (a computer) into the bracket? We've done this often, he's kind of our mascot lol.

I'm curious about the free hand massages. Are they administered by professional masseuses? Are they available at anytime, or just before/after a match?

In any case, I think having free hand massages is brilliant.

They are administered by professional masseuses through Doritos.

There are specific times in which they give them. The schedule will be at the Doritos booth.

Is there an ETA on the ending for the online ladder for columbus? Well I mean ending as in the points being awarded and tied to the accounts and registrants and their team builder page or something (I guess we would get points in the online rank points section?

I won it :)

The points MAY not be updated on your Teambuilder by Columbus, but don't worry, they will count to your seeding. If you want to double check, you can email anakin@mlgpro.com

What time will brawl start on Friday?

SSBB will start at 5:30 PM ET on Friday, June 4th.

Is there any sort of policy for on-site registers? That is to say: "If there are spots in the bracket, can you register at venue?"
