you know it. I have to, it your roots! I haven't donated yet but I get my income tax later this month and surely will haha.Zeus! What's good, homie? Holding it down in Mahvel?
Good seeing you support your roots.

THEN HIT ME UP SON. LETS PLAY. SOVA MELEE MISSES YOU.Also SUP @GHNEKO, we need to get some smash on soon homie, I was out at sea for a long *** time, I'll be around till late february and then we head back out again
Honestly, this. We're alike in many ways. I'd love to see SG getting some love through Smash tournaments.Oy oy! That $0.02 could have been used for Melee and you gave it to our competition?!?
But seriously, if we do end up winning, would it be possible to offer them a streamed tournament at Genesis 3 and make it the week after EVO? Think about it, we'd have just shown off our hype game in front of tens of thousands of viewers. If our commentators make mention of the fact that you can see more live Melee a week later, the amount of viewers for Genesis would really increase. It wouldn't be as much as if it were shown at EVO, but a Skullgirls tournament streamed at Genesis would get quite a bit of attention. And if they got enough high level players there, I think it would do a lot of good for them.
i'd like to think he's just melodramatically passionate.I can't tell if that BrandX guy is the funniest troll in history or legitimately disturbed but I'm laughing anyways.

A lot of you should leave the guy alone and learn from his devotion.Thank you guys for understanding my passion and I apologize for the doom and gloom I caused. I didn't mean to make the whole internet sad lol and I wasn't doing it for attention. I really care about SkullGirls and I really just want it to survive and live a wonderful life....
I also recognize your desire to have smash finally taken seriously, and with that I applaud you...
Let's hope that one day, both our communities can merge and we can prove to the FGC that our games are worth their time. I'm sorry I ever doubted you guys. Lets fight the good fight together..."

Yeah, been reading through the SG thread and I feel for the guy!A lot of you should leave the guy alone and learn from his devotion.
I don't have account on SRK, but if that guy reads this, I'd like him to know that we all understand what he's going through. It's great that someone has as much dedication to a game as he does. If anything, he's convinced me to give Skullgirls a try whenever I next have access to an Xbox. I wish him the best of luck at Evo.A lot of you should leave the guy alone and learn from his devotion.
+1we gotta win first XD
+1Yup, the FGC knows best... It ain't ova till its ova.
That's a pretty tight idea, make it happen!I was already going to donate during tomorrow's Melee It On Me stream, BUT in order to show that there is no ill-will between our community and the SkullGirls community, and also in order to support indie fighting game development, I will donate an additional $100 towards Melee IF we host SkullGirls or Divekick at Genesis 3.
I'll say it again:
I'll donate an additional $100 towards Melee's appearance at EVO, if we can guarantee an indie-developed game (SkullGirls or Divekick) featured at our next Smash Major (Genesis 3).
Talk to me, BOBACK!
Let those SkullGirls peeps know
Best of both world I guess, I really like that idea. Sry about my behavior earlier, but I wasn't in my best mood about this. I really support indie developers, it's just that I love Melee too much. I hope we can get this through so we can support both communities.I was already going to donate during tomorrow's Melee It On Me stream, BUT in order to show that there is no ill-will between our community and the SkullGirls community, and also in order to support indie fighting game development, I will donate an additional $100 towards Melee IF we host SkullGirls or Divekick at Genesis 3.

Thank you so much! =)Donated 100 for you guys. I don't play competitive Smash anymore and haven't for about 2 years. The chances of me entering a Melee tourney again are slim to none. I just want to see the greatest game ever made be a part of Evo. I just pushed Melee passed the $3k mark, but Skullgirls is still $500 ahead of you. Do your part and donate.
This is exactly what I wanted to hear! I hope the other winners do the same (M2K, Dr. PP, etc.) and donate what they can from their winnings.E:
Armada said he would donate some of his Apex winnings when he gets them, the dude's cool =)
Yeeeep, it would be pretty neat. Though it's largely dependent on how Boback would feel about it and whether or not the venue will be the same as year's past or if it's being relocated for streaming purposes.Gen3 also has the great boon of being in the San Francisco area, which already has a lot of FG players and is close enough to other WC hotspots for them to travel =)
Easy there life, you should try to avoid the whole "when life gives you lemons" jokes...but srsly we're not the ones who can promise them genesis, that's boback and the rest of them. I like asking them to do it but don't think we should get sg hopes up before they comment on it.I'll post about Genesis over at SRK.
So long as he learns to stop using ellipses like that. Geez.A lot of you should leave the guy alone and learn from his devotion.
