I don't think low tier is everything below the middle. IMO, it should only be the bottom two, considering the gap between the second and third from the bottom is larger than the fourth and third. Actually, on second thought, maybe E Tier.

ie: Mario, Lucas, Ness, Samus, Sonic, Pokémon Trainer, Yoshi, Link, Jigglypuff, Ganondorf, Captain Falcon

Here, the tier list for Dekar. Characters in orange can be chosen for the low tier tournament. If you want just E, F and G, that's pretty much only eliminating 2 characters (Cao's characters) from the list. If you want just F and G, that will eliminate Tak's (Fox), IceK's (Zelda) and Shaz's (Ike) chances and maximize Wayne's (Mario), Attila's (Lucas) and my (Jigglypuff + Yoshi) chances. If you want just G, I believe I will take this one home lolol.
If I'm forgetting any pro low tier user then shoot me.

In my opinion using the whole bottom half of the list is the way to go, even though I predict seeing Cao vs Tak in the finals. Unless Shaz actually turns up and tries, Attila is God with Lucas or I play my little Jigglypuff heart out

In this case we are looking at the tier list as a whole. All of the characters in their respective order, split in half. That happens to occur midway through the D tier.

@jei: if low tier tourneys are tradtionally low AND mid tier, and you want to run it TRADITIONALLY or whatever, then C-tier should be included because C-tier is the middle tier, and you go by tier, not by number of characters in each tier or overall
the median of tiers, per se

looking at c-tier, it wouldn't like wreck the low tier tourney to include it anyway right
only worry is ice-climbers, and as long as nobody bothers to learn the death grabs it's fine lawl
besides, most of the grab things wouldn't work on most low tiers
err right?

WHEN: 7pm until late.

COST: $3/hour members
$3.80/hour non-members
membership $6 includes 1 free hour
and bring money for food if you feel like joining us for dinner (most likely dumplings <3)

BRING: GameCube controllers and the money to cover N2C at least. We need 1 or 2 more people to bring their wii's and Brawl copies.
