Just to clarify. The Prothean character himself was on the disk, but most of his dialogue and his mission was not.

So, I just finally unlocked a Salarian character, being the Salarian Engineer in Multiplayer tonight. So nice. Now, to get my Turian Sentinel and Krogan Soldier back.

Fist bump. The Salarian Engineer is one of my favorites.

I'm currently going:

Energy Drain 6: Damage/Drain/Damage
Decoy 6: Duration/Shock/Explode
Incinerate 6: Damage/Burning Damage/Armour Damage
Operative 5: Damage&Capacity/Power Damage
Fitness 3: -

It's a build someone else suggested on Reddit. Not the most durable, but an Engi shouldn't be out on the front line anyway. More of the back of the bus kinda guy.

I don't suppose anybody knows why my characters face can't be imported from the previous games?

I haven't changed it since ME.

Also do you get to keep the evil scars if you import an evil character?

My understanding is that scars stay.

But I want the import stuff fixed. :/

That's not a bad Engineer build, but I like to ALWAYS max the base power thing (i.e. Alliance Soldier, or 'Pure Biotic'), and get Fitness to 4. I haven't gotten to use the Salarian one yet, but I know my Human male engineer maxed out Combat Drone, and in the demo went with Rockets but...I'm probably doing Chain Lightning instead.

As for the women thing...my best friend and half my friends are women so...I know EXACTLY what you mean.

I like the build that I posted shorting Fitness because I was then able to buff Incenerate, and max the other skills too. Decoy is pretty useful. It aggros A LOT. And having shock on there helps.

The only time it doesn't aggro is when you drop it in sight of them (when they see you and are shooting at you). At least for me it hasn't worked that way.

Also, going Avenger or solo AR for fast recharge should be a given.

I'll probably put Incinerate/Energy Drain to 5 depending on how I see them work out. That and well...the whole "reduce weapon weight by 20%" thing helps. I like to have a machine pistol or heavy pistol (I use an Avenger/Carnifax combo now with +48% recharge speed, relating to my human Engineer).

My point is the game was not completed. Various glitches, Audio, characters....etc all on the disk....idk it seems so unprofessional to me. The devs admit to running out of time and overlooking the inconsistancies in the ending...which make sense considering how it all wrapped up.

Your character flashing back on her fun times with Liara if you aren't romancing Kaiden or Ash for example.

The initial anger and disappointment has faded and I just think it's hilarious now. Especially considering how the backlash has even caused Knights of the Old Republic to take a hit. Not unrecoverable but something like 20% of the population has vanished in a week.....that is funny to me. I feel bad for the people who worked hard on the game now. Maybe they should've just paid the extra money to work the rest of the bugs out and complete the game.

It's funny, cause the game was originally supposed to release over the Holidays last year, and they delayed it to ensure everything was in order and working properly. With that being said, I have run across a few glitches, but nothing like Fallout or Skyrim worthy. The worst one I had was where the game froze early on, and then in a later mission, Shepard's eyes were bulging out like crazy. Scared the heck out of me.

I had it freeze once, and I had one early on where when Shepard would be talking to someone in front of him, his head would be facing to the left so that he was looking away from who he was talking to, lol. That's about it though.

Lol yeah there's so much bugs. Ashley never makes eye contact with my Shepard which is clearly a bug because she spends her time looking at his groin instead.

It's kinda a weird thing to be doing when you're talking about your sister.

Also, I swear after stumbling across some people with it in Multiplayer, that the Geth Plasma Rifle seems to be way buffed and doing a lot more damage. And the Revenant seems to be just a heavier, less accurate version of the Phaeston...with the Graal being the best Shotty I'd guess.

I had PC. It also works for 360 if you know how to xfer your save files out of the HDD (well, there's a tutorial on how to do it already on that website).

I just did the "Geth Fighters" mission where the Geth Primes join you after. There was the whole thing about whether to destroy them and I was all "maybe they don't all have to die" with it, and I supported Admiral Raan in the whole "pull back the Heavy Fleet" thing (which oddly enough updated the War things somehow in the Codex, but I didn't even know the Heavy Fleet WAS an asset yet, and can't find it. I'm REALLY hoping that after this "Reaper Base" mission, it doesn't turn into a Vrmire thing between Tali and Legion...ugh, that would be awful. And even moreso because well, if that's what it is, then Legion most likely will be screwed on 90% of playthroughs...

he's a vanguard which i can see why is not one of the best classes (low life in a game where sitting back and throwing **** at enemies seems to be the best option)

I just got through Rannoch and ugh...I KNEW there was a reason I had a bad feeling about it. I was worried that something earlier from the Geth Fighters bit was one to worry about, but when I realized that it might be a Vrmire between Tali and Legion I was like "crap", and realized if it WAS, then Legion would be screwed because almost nobody would save Legion over Tali. I thought after doing the Paragon (blue) dialogue after the Geth thing that I'd saved both of them, but then Legion shut down and I got all sad. I imagine if I tried the other route by saying to upload the code first something might have happened to Tali, but I'm kinda worried to go check. Tsk...this game is mean with it's "you can't save everybody" undertones.

You'd be surprised. Tali has a group of dedicated fans but Legion is more well liked in general. I'd save the Geth over the Quarian's any day.

Regarding what could've happened there:

You could've gotten a Virmire survivor like incident where either the Geth or the Quarian's get wiped out. If you picked the Geth, then Tali would've committed suicide by throwing herself off a cliff. There's a lot of variables from ME2, including side missions, which can stop that from happening.

Edit: Hell, it doesn't even say Fan Ending, just says "SPOILERS *text here* and a description comment about "the ending being nothing more..." or whatever. So in other words, I think I just got the worst ending spoiled for me, which...sure I wasn't going to get obviously, but still...

There was a debate about this back before the game came out, if you're willing to scroll back a few pages. Basically Bioware only said what I did in a tweet, apart from that they were tight lipped about everything that happens in the game especially the end, so you must be remembering wrong.

So I heard on Mass Effect wiki that there's another way to get the Collector's Assault Rifle for multiplayer, basically you go the Dark Horse Comics online store and download the Mass Effect Invasion series (which is 7 bucks). On the Dark Horse site it says you'll get a code for a reinforcement pack on March 23rd if you downloaded the comics by March 21st. The Dark Horse site doesn't say anything about Collector's Assault Rifle, but the Mass Effect Wiki seems to suggest that you will get the weapon by doing this. I might download the series whether I get it or not cause I liked the first Invasion comic I got from the collector's edition.

That's kinda weird. I always figured that the Collector Assault Rifle would just be instantly in multiplayer (not available, but that you could get it) if you had already unlocked it in your ported over ME2 save.

Well your armor and stuff gets put in buy you have to buy it back...which kind of makes it pointless.... seems the same thing is going on with Multiplayer(Haven't played it alot).

Yeah, you can even get the Terminus Armor (pre-order bonus for ME2) and Collector Armor (in ME2, you needed the Collector's Edition).

Yeah, but it should be noted that except for maybe the Collector Armor, all of the stat bonuses are completely reworked. Hell, for Soldier, the Cerberus Armor is a beast.

That being said, I'm not buying any more armor or anything because I'm saving my money (got around 180,000 credits so far) up for the Black Widow. It's why I've taken every store credit bonus I can get.

Turns out, the whole game, I just ended up using the Mantis. The Viper wasn't what it used to be in ME2. The Widow was way too heavy along with the Javelin. Didn't buy the Black Widow. The other two had way too low of damage for my tactics.
