Job #16 - Mega Man Stage
Highway Stage
Since Mega Man X made his debut in Infinite, I thought that it might be worthwhile to have a stage based upon the series which is why I opted for the Highway stage from the Mega Man X series. I could see the stage filled with smashed vehicles, specific iconic enemies such as the Crushers and a Bee Blader flying around the background and perhaps a cameo appearance by Vile who I believe he is the stage's boss in the game.
Wily Castle
It's a very obvious location as it's the most recurring destination in all of the games (though often with various looks and sometimes as a space station) and serves as the home base of the antagonist, Dr Wily.
It'd be much like what we have in Smash except it'd be set up on the castle walls rather than a floating platform so you're actually fighting at the castle. Yellow Devil would still cameo but so would Dr Wily in his capsule, numerous Robot Masters, the Mecha Dragon and also some generic enemies like the Mets, Sniper Joes and Big Eyes.
Job #16:
Chill Penguin stage
It may seem like a strange pick for a stage, but as (usually) the first boss you fight in the series, Chill Penguin is one of the most iconic Mavericks in the series and so I think it would be cool to add his stage. You would fight in the snow with lots of cameos from enemies watching you fight. There would also be lots of broken trees and snowy hills in the background to flesh out the look of the stage
job 16
Dr. Light's Laboratory
This is a semi-reocurring location in the games
The appearance would be taken directly from the game, The background would have Auto, Rush, Eddie, Beat, Tango and Dr. Light. And Rarely, Dr. Wily and a random robot Master would break in.
Oh damn I totally stopped getting notifications from this. Thankfully I didn't miss a thing!
Mega Man stage: The Flutter
The Flutter is the home and main method of transportation for the Caskett family and Mega Man Volnutt in the Legends games. The stage would take place on its deck during the aerial battle against the Gesellschaft and the Bonne family, so picture a constantly moving skyscape with explosions and projectiles flying around. There would be cameos by Barrell, Roll and Volnutt, and also vocal cameos such as screams and orders being barked by Tron, Teisel and Bon.
Job #17Job #17: Submit a Capcom Character that is from a Series not represented via Character in MvC HistoryLong title, quick description. Submit a character from a series that has yet to appear in a MvC game within a representative fighter capacity. When submitting, please provide the following info:
Character name Series they come from How the character would play as Their 3 Hyper Combos (no one submits moves really for this thread so let's just kill 2 birds with 1 stone and do it this way) Why they should include
Falcon's already in1. Wily's Castle
2. Chill Penguin's Stage
3. Dr. Light's Laboratory
Job #17
Character Name: Edward Falcon
Series: Power Stone
How the character would play as: I would say he should retain most of his moves from the Power Stone series in which mostly (if what I believe is correct) a mix of boxing and martial arts.
3 Hyper Combos: Power Change, Power Explosion, Power Rocket.
Why should Edward Falcon be included: Power Stone is one of Capcom's most underated gems that had been laying dormant for quite a long while. It will be a great addition not only for a character to appear in Marvel Vs Capcom game, but to give the Power Stone franchise some shine and recognition.
Sorry I should of highlighted that we already voted Edward Falcon in as well as Tessa from Red Earth.1. Wily's Castle
2. Chill Penguin's Stage
3. Dr. Light's Laboratory

Ah I see, thanks for the notification and I will update my post once I have the time.Sorry I should of highlighted that we already voted Edward Falcon in as well as Tessa from Red Earth.

Job 17
Batsu Ichimonji (Rival Schools)
Batsu would be an all-rounder type of character with good combos
Hypers:
Super Guts Upper - A Powerful Uppercut
Super Shooting Star Kick - A Fast and Powerful Dive Kick
Final Symphony - Batsu is joined by Hinata and Kyosuke where all 3 deliver a large series of blows to the opponent
Rival Schools is a unique series by Capcom and Akira's inclusion in Street Fighter V has increased it's interest and it would fit right at home in MvC
My submission is also from Rivak Schools, Akira
View attachment 328189
Akira is one of the most popular characters from the Rival Schools series, and she would also indirectly be representing Street Fighter since she was a DLC character for SFV very recently. Since she would represent not only a huge capcom series, but also a small cult classic one she would be a great addition for this in my opinion.
Her hyper combos would be pulled directly from the games:
Seijyun High School (1:33)
Aerial Barrage (1:52)
Kyoso Kiko Kai (2:42) Batsu could be removed if needed
Regina
Dino Crisis
While Dino Crisis isn’t the most influential game in Capcom’s arsenal, it is one that they still call back to in their games. This series warranted an inclusion in Tekken x Street Fighter. Regina would obviously focus on using weaponry such as firearms and sidearms along with a few melee attacks. I do worry that she would be deemed to be a carbon copy of Black Widow and even contend with her chances of Regina is included. Let’s admit, Black Widow should return and I feel Regina might be one two many red-head projectile specialists in the game.
Hyper Combos:
1. Prehistoric Payoff: Fires several rounds from the sh machine gun before pulling out a Grenade Gun and firing it causing an explosion.
2. Raptor Attack: Regina dodges out of the way as a Raptor leaps from behind her. If the Raptor connects to an opponent during the leap, it will begin mailing them with savage bite attacks before being shot and killing by Regina. If the Raptor doesn’t make contact in the jump, it will run for some distance until it makes contact or exists the other side of the screen.
3. Dino Crisis: Regina fires her stun gun which stuns the opponent and traps them in the Hyper Combo. It causes the cutscene to grow dark and she lights a flare and throws it at the shocked opponent. It begins to burn which then shows a mighty T-Rex looming behind the opponent. The T-Tex takes the opponent in their mouth and swings them back and forth brutally before flinging them away.
We back
1. Central Highway
2. Chill Penguin
3. Wily's Castle
Job 17:
Asura - Asura's Wrath
Asura is the titular character of the cult classic game and is rumoured to have been considered for previous Marvel vs Capcom games, he's also been a rather popular request for a while too.
Asura's basic playstyle would entail a vicious up close and personal fighter using overwhelming brute force to keep pressure on the foe but he would have a basic projectile move. He would also possess some degree of super armour as he very often fights through intense pain. Asura would fight in his base Vajra form but bring out the Six Armed form for heavy special moves like a punch rush or stronger energy blasts
For his hyper combos Asura would:
Level 1 - Mantra Form
A core component of the game is that Asura is frequently powering himself up and gaining more amounts of power. In MvC this form change would be signified by a meter much like Dante and Vergil. This form would entail a significant power boost and for special moves he again breaks out the Six-Arms form. It's signified by the larger arms and the halo behind him.
Level 2 - Asura the Destructor
Asura activates his Mantra reactor and attains his Destructor form, foes caught in this are then subject to Asura rushing at them and delivering a devastating punch. This move costs two meter as it entails an immense power up on Asura's half and makes it a bigger commitment.
Level 3 - Wrath Unleashed
Asura's big cinematic super based on the final blow to Chakravartin's true form, Asura rushes his foe but he delivers a single solitary punch exerting all of his power, the camera tint goes red and zooms in on Asura as he unleashes his full power, as the foe is finally punched away a huge explosion engulfs them. This explosion is an embellishment to further sell the raw power and fury behind the attack
Ah I see, thanks for the notification and I will update my post once I have the time.
EDIT:
OK, so after a long consideration for a replacement in which I had completely forgotten that Edward Falcon was already voted in, here is my new choice:
Name: King Rasta Mon
Series: Saturday Night Slam Masters/Rings of Destruction: Slam Masters II
Hyper Moves:
Level 1 - Monkey Help: Rasta will summon his monkey companions to assist and attack his opponent.
Level 1 - Ultimate Jungle Panic: Rasta does a barrage of flailing arms when he charges on to the opponent before ending it on a massive slash.
Level 3 - The Ultimate Finisher: Similar to his finisher move from the Rings of Destruction: Slam Masters II.
Why King Rasta Mon should be included:
The Saturday Night Slam Masters franchise is one of Capcom's fighting games that had been long forgotten within their past. Out of all of the characters featured within the game, I do feel that King Rasta Mon has shown an interesting personality and move set. It will be a great opportunity for Capcom to give someone from a franchise that had been long dormant a chance to shine.
P.S. I do admit I am not very creative when it comes to inventing move sets, but I thought I may as well give it a try.
Great to see this thread make a comeback!
I was planning to submit Regina but someone beat me to it (good taste someone!) so instead I'll go with...
Gene (God Hand)
A drifter who, in a bizarre series of events, ends up wielding the mythical God Hand, which grants him extraordinary martial arts abilities. God Hand is the last unrepresented game by Clover Studio, the creators of Viewtiful Joe and Okami that later went on to reform as Platinum Games. Upon release God Hands received mixed reviews and flopped saleswise, however it has been reappraised in the years since as a character action masterpiece and gained a cult following, with many clamoring for Gene to join Marvel vs. Capcom.
Gene is probably one of the characters with the most moveset potential ever. In God Hand, the player is free to pick from 114 different attacks. So this would be one of those movesets where every single attack is a reference to something. As for playstyle, much like in his game of origin, Gene would be a highly technical rushdown character. His movelist revolves around getting close to his opponent to start combos or deliver devastating blows, and he would have so many options for that that unpredictability itself would become another asset in the hands of a skilled player.
As for specials, I'm not really a moveset guy but here goes
Level 1: Weapon
Gene picks up a mallet. With it he has 3 possible attacks, a quick attack that does normal damage but is, well, quick; a strong attack with a long windup but does more damage; and a throw attack that does the most damage but instantly destroys the weapon. This hyper ends when the weapon is destroyed; quick attacks damage it less than strong attacks. Randomly the weapon will have the appearance of the Bus Stop Sign instead of the mallet.
Level 2: Unleashed Mode
Gene takes off his bracelet, causing his God Hand to glow and unleashing its power of the for a brief time. This makes Gene faster and all his attacks stronger and unblockable. Unlike the original game it doesn't make him invincible for balancing.
Level 3: God Roulette
Could it have been anything else? When this is used, time slows down to let Gene pick a move from the wheel. The moves are displayed in a random order and Gene has a time limit to pick one, if he doesn't the one he's currently selected will be used when the time runs out.
Dead Pan: A frying pan drops on Gene's head, dealing damage and briefly stunning him but making him invincible for a while afterwards.
Ball Buster: A kick to the groin that stuns his opponent for a long time. Female fighters and non-humanoids are impervious to this.
Chain Yanker: Gene pulls in his opponent from a distance and punches them.
Daisy Cutter: Gene lunges forward. If it connects, Gene strikes a pose, as his opponent explodes behind him.
Face Runner: A flurry of bicycle kicks to the face that launches.
God Stomp: Gene does an overhead kick. If it connects, Gene will follow up with four devastating ground stomps to his floored opponent.
Head Slicer: A projectile that travels at neck height. This is easy to dodge but deals high damage.
Kung Fu Samba: Gene jumps into the air and kicks targets with both feet, performs a cartwheel kick as his targets are juggled, then ends with a punch that launches.
Kung Fu Tango: Gene swings his arms around in a windmill attack moving forward, then finishes with a punch that launches.
La Bomba: Gene charges his God Hands and punches the ground, creating a shockwave. Takes a bit to wind up.
One Inch Punch: Must be used while right next to the opponent. Insta KO.
Shockwave: A vertical chop that sends out a projectile. Much larger than Head Slicer but also slower and less damaging.
100 Fists: A quick flurry of blows that ends in a launcher.
Dragon Kick: A simple side kick that humorously sends the opponent off the screen one side and back in the other.
Home Run God: Gene creates a baseball bat out of energy and hits the opponent with massive knockback. Pretty counterproductive for Gene's playstyle so this is here mostly for the flair.
Shaolin Blast: Gene shoots out a massive hand shaped projectile that can hit several times.
Oh and as for the stage vote
1. Highway
2. Flutter
3. Dr. Light's Lab
