I dropped the controller mid-game last time, don't want something like that ever happening again.

I get so nervous if it's a game that I know I can win if I do well enough, which is why my performance ends up deteriorating from the start of said matches, when I start doing well.

It's the worst... D:

to get rid of choking, just comes with experience and the right mental preparation, i usually pray before a set (LOLgodrapes) and wear gloves.

I live vicariously through my crewmates, lol. Anybody they've played, I feel like I've sort of played. Was the closest I got to playing Pierce's Mario too...

Perhaps, yeah...I think they go hand in hand in a way though...confidence means you think you can win, you believe in yourself.

You believe that you can beat others.

Which means...you believe that you technically are better than others (if you can beat someone, you're obviously better right?)

Before a tourney match, I do the following:

Make sure I have a fresh gum in my mouth.
Make sure I'm seated comfortably.
Make sure I can see the screen at a good enough angle.
Make sure there's enough room for people to walk around me.. cause being smacked around in person while trying to play a match is annoying..
Make sure the tv is loud enough so that I can hear it.
Put my phone on vibrate.
Put my phone down on the table, faced down.. so if I get a call/text, I won't see my screen turning on :D
Tell my opponents good luck and have fun :D

yupp loll XD they were really friendly =) sassy's zss was really hard at first (ZSS is really hard if you don't know the MU for some reason) took me a while to adjust, even though it was friendlies =D

I've been through that, it's pretty hard to concentrate with smells.

I don't know if this changes how I perceive things around me, but I do happen to have perfect pitch. I think the background music actually affects my timing on certain things like the Sliding Up-smash.

Perfect pitch would not affect timing though... Maybe you mean a good sense of rhythm?

I'm gonna focus on Mario and Diddy now, as soon as a Brawl tourney comes up in Toronto I'll be repping Mario, I have wayy to many secondaries (most of which I suck at).

Hey is anyone hyped for SMG2, they say it'll be harder which make it better already, and Yoshi is in it, haven't seen that since Sunshine (well in 3-D Mario platformers)

It was the first time I used Mario that day. I used Luigi for every other match because I decided to work on my Luigi. It wasn't my best match vs. Marth either. I've done much better. Should've just warmed up my Mario.

Back when I was ****ty with Diddy, I got 3 stocked, then nearly won with Mario.

Mario for is too fun not to play as, his placement in the tier list doesn't get me down any more, just more money for me in low tiers.

The impossible Metaknight matchup and a gay bracket that made all of Indiana play each other in loser's bracket one after another. (Seriously, I practiced with those guys the night before, and we ALL KNOCKED EACHOTHER OUT.)

I got 2nd seed in my pool too, I got bracket ****ed pretty hard.
