I thought it was pretty epic tying it in like that, because I never saw it coming, but I can see what you mean. I think we can all agree that MGS4 was only good for the

MANLY CRAWLING THROUGH MICROWAVE SCENE.

Also yeah, I miss Liquid. He was deserving of his title of totally awesome ****** leader.

Also i really feel like MGS4 ruined Liquid.

Do you understand that it wasn't really Liquid? It was Ocelot trying to follow in Big Boss' footsteps due to his uh.... strange obsession for him (Play MGS3 if you don't know what i'm talking about =D) He basically seperated himself from the system by creating Liquid Ocelot (or whatever you wish to call him) I can't remember the exact method of how he does it, but I think it was through self-hypnosis or something to train his mind into believing he is Liquid

MGS4 had some really good moments in it, but definitely the didn't have the same quality of characters (with the new ones and even some of the returning ones) and storyline of the other 3. Some of the character motivations in MGS4 are very vague and don't make much sense, take Naomi for example >_>

Anyway so how's that MGS backroom going?

Yeah i understand all that Tak im just saying that i didnt like that direction they took with Liquid Ocelot overall. I was dissapointed that it wasnt actually Liquid and that it was Ocelot and all the other details that go into it. Just makes Liquid overall less epic and makes me feel different when i play through MGS2 hearing him speak.

Big boss is another huge blunder in mgs4. The ending after the credits is a huge mistake, it's only there to please the crowd.
