Next MU threads, after these two get discussed and all four open discussions get summaries, is going to run down a bit differently. I have no secrets from the Kirby boards so they way this'll go down is myself, and four others I deem to have 'the stuff' will exchange ideas on the MU discussed and come to a census. Then we'll invite 5 from whatever character boards we're discussing to look over our census and discuss it giving their view. After that we'll post a summary of this in a MU export thread and everyone will get a chance to discuss it and I will edit to include intelligent posts and arguments for or against aspects of the MU summary.
You have been warned. (lol, I always wanted to say that).

I don't wanna get sick, sitting in my room for more than 2 weeks, doing nothing but rolling over and getting whiter with each passing day, plus feeling like crap everyday and depressed cuz I won't be able to see anyone without grossing them out a bit, AND not being able to keep an eye on SWF as a mod/play MH3/play Brawl/eat whatever I desire... It sounds like HELL.
Oh, and my May 1st tourney got cancelled, apparently... The guys who were hosting it had no previous experience, so the place they were expecting to hold the tourney turned them down after they announced the tourney, and they had no backup places to fall back onto... Man, I really wanted to play Brawl. I feel like I'm playing better than ever, I was kicking some serious *** this weekend...

JoWii, that is a BAD idea. First of all, you will likely be flamed by people who are angry about you changing the way you run things (the complaining user is always right and knows how to do it better than you, remember?). Second, if both boards can't figure out what to say, why should 10 people be able to? Third, how will you decide who on the other board knows their stuff? It doesn't seem at all easy, or realistic.
Also, you might want to add the Pika, IC, Marth and G&W links to the matchup thread's OP before you forget to. And I can't figure out why you have the old summaries in the thread's second post but the new ones in all the individual threads.
(By the way, I have a Marth summary 3/4 written. If I can ever get all my homework done and do enough math and chess to please myself, I'll finish it.)

Well this isn't exactly true. By the way, I'm one of the guys hosting the tourney, and there is a backup plan. Actually there are a couple, but I'm not going to announce things until they are official. It sucks though that we couldn't get the place, especially when this is our first tourney. Suuuuper embarrassing.

S@nT made a blog about it and said the tourney wasn't gonna happen (pretty much), and Kasht closed the thread, so I thought May 1st wasn't gonna happen... Is it still? Or are you pulling my leg? Kirby really should be high tier imo.
Well, if there's only really two people posing threats in tourneys that main Kirby, there's probably no reason to keep Kirby up so high. High tier is for characters who pose a danger for every tourney-goer, and right now, if there's only two mainers doing stuff, he really doesn't seem that threatening... Especially considering the large numbers of lower-skilled kirby mainers who go to tourneys and don't get out of pools/place high consistently.

Plus, that tourney had rules you would've hated playing with, according to what you've told me before... Can you imagine yourself playing in a 4-player no-time-limit match, with grand finals being 5 stocks 3-players? XD I'm glad I played it, i got free games. ;D

I think Kirby is fine where he is. Maybe a bit lower. :S His mobility really hurts him, hes very good though if it werent for his crippling running speed and air mobility...

@ TLMSheikant- Jeez you make Kirby sound as if he's a sloth-with-wings. When you FFAerials he gets to be a lot faster. And who runs??!?? I stutter step dash; it's cool looking.

If MK would just get out of his own tier Kirby would be B tier and it wouldn't look as bad, same for everyone else in the lower tiers.

We're not going to use the location, since we can't anymore. So basically, the tournament is cancelled, but in that location. We're still working on it, but for now, trust me when I say this. We will play soon.
Oh, and I'm adding you to the list now. You're replacement player #2, and if you don't replace anyone, you have a guaranteed spot on Round 3.
You must have a personal vendetta against the edit button.
Why someone would opt to make an entirely new post over an edit makes no sense to me.

I agree with JoWii, Kirby gets to be so much quicker when FFíng aerials, also stutterstepping fsmashes makes for some deliciously massive range. Stutter stepping being initiating a dash before fsmashing, this can either work offensively or defensively depending on which way you dash, MK can punish grab happy people really hard by stutter stepping backwards before fsmashing a grab attempt to the face, but for kirby this only works offensively since our fsmash has forward momentum anyway.
I don't know how many of you already do this but if you don't you really should try it.

So some chick came up to me while I was doing homework with a 'study abroad' survey and I thought of all the places with Brawlers (Like Netherlands and PR). I selected all the good smash locations and not so good and when it said reason for selections it had like 5 educational choices and one other. I selected other and wrote in 'For some brawl competition OoC'.

Sheikant, you should know that I don't really depend on running when I'm Kirby... I stay close to you, but not close enough so that I can attack you, instead I wait for you to make a move so I can counter it... You don't need running for that.

Dutchland speaks English! Albeit most of us aren't very good, but I'm quite surprised that even the local cassieres and other not that educated jobs can manage themselves pretty well in English, so screw Hispanic places, come to Europe!

Btw, I think TX, M2k, Ally, and maybe a handful of EC and WC are the few who would go continental for some brawl competition. (Excluding PR coming to US because that's lol-able.)
