Summer of 2011 Goal #1: See more states and play more Smashers. I've never really been to MW:W before so its a good start. Plus I heard that somewhere in the corn fields there are some legit smashers

I agree with this. I realize it was random, but I would have loved to have played anyone but Joker/Nebraska in the first round, which is exactly what happend, and if I would have beaten Joker

It was the same for IA and OH I added everyones city but I think Tio only makes it so that you don't play people from the same place on the first round after that Tio doesn't care I think because there where fewer people so yeah I could have fixed it but didn't really knew who was who most of the time cause of the random names.

I have to check but after a tourney I take a breather I should figure something this week or next also as for housing right now Bpx is the best options since I'm currently housing other friends.

@FAE: I'm going to be honest. I had heard there was this Lucas player that beat Joker at a few tournaments, and I was like "WTF Joker, what you doing...it's Lucas." I now know what the deal is. I'm PK StarStruck to loosely quote Bpx (corny but true hahaha ) ... You play Lucas the same way I play Diddy, with as much creativity as humanly possible. I had no clue all the things your Lucas could do and was thrown off most of our matches. I had to pretty much play my character and try to sneak in hits when you did something that at least looked "normal". I honestly want to pick up Lucas...the same way I took up playing Wario after being inspired by my friend Sluys. You make Lucas seem like he has all the options in the world. Here is a small list of madness I experienced:
1) Perfectly spaced fresh F-Smashes aka getting hit with AIR and not the stick
2) Perfectly timed up-smashes wherever I was landing
3) Mixups: tilts after jabs and jabs after tilts :-\
4) Funky movement using magnetpull to waste people's invincibility frames, autocancelled fastfell moves
5) Safe retreating fairs to attack and pick up bananas
6) THOUSAND of team tactics
-absorbing electricity from waddle doos
-upsmashing out of ddd's grab
7) My personal favorite: Flying into the fray with a PSI Magnet / MagnetPull and knocking me off the dang stage...

All in all your Lucas is a monster of a character. Don't get caught up in the trash talk, and next time, let your teammate help. You guys probably would have won had DDD risked it and went for a few good grabs.

@MMM: Your DDD is nice. I hope we get to play and chat more. By the way, I went back and watch the vid of the beat down you and FAE gave us on Smashvillie. You did a reverse swallowcide on me. I should be ashamed of letting that mess get me :-D. Again, GREAT job on the website.

@BPOW: 9th and 3rd in doubles. Not bad. Let's practice fighting for the next month. It should be fun, plus you have been itching to learn how to play offensively properly, so let's try it.

@Future: I liked your MK. Don't sweat the small stuff man. You played like a superstar and did really well against me. Just calm down a little in the matches and you will take home the gold.

@Razer: ??? Old men popping up and almost placing in the money...what shame You left, I heard, like 2 hours before I got there.

@CBK: OMG, you are a superstar. PLEASE buy the game, PLEASE show up to Joker's and practice, PLEASE go to tournies...you are and can be SOOOooo good. I was watching you carry your team, effectively fighting solid 2 on 1's. Knocking one person in the air, dash attacking the other and then running back to kill the otherone off top, all in one sequence...craziness...

@-BC-: We play in Ames sometimes...Brandon or I will keep you posted

@GameGenie: OMG...wow man keep practicing...out of you, Rob, and Thugz. You gave me the most trouble (and it wasn't just cause of the match up). You played really smart, and even when I was trying, you managed to predict what I was gonna do and stopped a good number of my setups. I hear you play wifi...keep that stuff up man...oh yeah and get your copy of MVC3 back from your cousin :-D

@Thugz: Keep playing MK...I think watching videos and emmulating movement would be one of the things that can really really help your game out. You are fundamentally sound...so now on to stuff like movement and the psychological aspect of the game.

@MegaRobMan: Like GG and Thugz, you are fundamentally sound. Find your niche in the game. Find what you like and are good at, then perfect it. After that, start on a secondary style and do the same. Don't play the game just to be playing it, put in a little effort into thinking exactly what you want to accomplish with each approach and each move (then think of what you will do if the plan blows up in your face). You are the best in Nebraska (when Tyser is asleep) so keep playing and practicing.

@Trent: Heard you got your revenge on Razer, not bad, not bad.

@Uli: Please leave that frame perfect, perfect shield, stage tech, button mashing, tech skill stuff in Melee. I don't need to see that silly stuff when playing friendlies in Brawl :-D

@Tyser: Can we play some team friendly matches next time?

@Colin: Take some time to sit down and chat with Brandon about Brawl Decision making. You would attack when you needed to roll and roll when you needed to attack. Making good decisions is something you are struggling with, but I'm sure with a little thought and practice you will get past it.

I've watched Eva 1.11 and 2.22 so much since the last week. Sparking my interest in watching your Project Eva videos which in turn, sparked my interest in watching the original anime. I've only seen parts of it on Adult swim. Never in chronological order. and I have seen End of Evangelion multiple times in the past.

then, after watching V's video, Analysis part 1 (som'n som'n about Rei) I really understood the steepness that is Evangelion. So I'm 'a be watchin' more of those ^^

That is some good advice. Yeah, when I saw something that looked "normal" then I would try to attack. Your plan is really smart, cause it is like fighting toon link in a way...they can't really risk grabbing you for fear of a hard punish.
