Rhydon resists both STABs of the moth too...lol.

too bad he's piss defensively if there is no sandstorm.

Also we're just arguing about which is better as a wall with the def-boosting stone, not how they work as a walling duo. XD

If you need Mantyke to counter Urugamoth, then you suck.

Yes, it's very powerful, but it definitely has weaknesses that you can exploit.

Mothra kind of HAS to carry HP Ground for Heatran / other Fire-types.

Base 100 SpA boosted by Choice Specs using a 95 base Power move against a Pokemon that's 4x weak to it.

How does it NOT die, even WITH the stone.

STAB is more important than anything else.

Lanturn's Thunderbolt is stronger than Starmie's thunderbolt by about like...a significant amount.

BTW, Tail Glow now gives either +3, +4, or +5 SpA, most probably +3.

SPEAKING OF TROLL

does anybody know how much stronger it gets per team member that knows it?
Doesn't work that way, I think. It's more like you and your team mates have to use it consecutively for it to get stronger.

It really sucks :/

Power you are thinking of Echo Voice.

And I'm not sure, I'm just certain it doesn't work on Shoddy Battle yet, because I had 6 choice spec uber users and that move didn't do ****.

No, I'm pretty sure he's right. It has to be used consecutively in order to increase the damage output, basically. Someone on Smogon tested or something.

Scenario 1:
Pokemon A used Troll! (No teammates have Troll)
Pokemon B took 10% damage.

Scenario 2:
Pokemon A used Troll! (All teammates have Troll, Pokemon A is exactly the same)
Pokemon B took 10% damage. (Pokemon B is exactly the same)

Scenario 3:
Pokemon A used Troll! (Pokemon A is exactly the same)
Pokemon B took 10% damage.
Pokemon B used Troll! (Pokemon B is exactly like Pokemon A)
Pokemon A took 20% damage.

Something along those lines.

So does this mean Explosion is a bad move now? Or will some pokemon still pack it.
Generally the Pokemon which used Explosion used it as a last ditch attempt or bait attempt against something through halving out their defense. Now that Explosion doesn't do that anymore, it's not as "good."

For example, Magnezone can take Explosions nicely now without worrying about a defense half.

Dude, where have you been for the past 5 months.
Not reading your posts, clearly.

I still don't believe this whole "Explosion not halving defence" thing was an intentional nerf. I'm sure it's just a minor glitch.

Blissey has to deal with so much other crap this gen though.

I wonder how long we will have to wait to get all of these crazy threats from the dream world. There's even a chance some won't be released for all we know.

Blissey is a great special sponge. In the last few generations, something that can 3HKO Blissey with special moves is really quite amazing. Now, we have multiple Pokémon who can 2HKO with special moves.

I'm thinking Rain Stall will be incredibly potent. A lot of new water pokemon got rain stall based abiliteis, naturally or via dream world, and grass and steel pokemon themselves are pretty decent stall users and would appreciate the decreased damage from fire attacks. Then throw on Zapdose and you've got yourself pretty decent synergy on that alone.

So
Politoad
Tanagrowth
Tentacruel
Bronzong
Physically Defensive Zapdose
Thick Fat Mamoswine

Just off the top of my head.

But can they deal with the boosted Water attacks? Tangrowth can't take Special Attacks, and Mamoswine is still weak to Water.

In other news, it's a possibility that you can transfer Pokémon to the Dream World and have their Abilities changed.

But it's uncertain for now.
