Dacus is one of those things that takes some practice but is really really easy once you've got it down. In the end, shieks and Jigglypuff's become equally easy. I can't remember the last time I messed up a DACUS

The only trick to shiek's DACUS is that you hafta use A. I generally use Z for DACUS-ing so I have to claw when I do it with Shiek. If I played her more often I might be inclined to switch R to attack, but I don't.

No point... you should always full DACUS because if you miss you're gonna get punished anyways, no point in doing a "fake-out" and going short. Unless they're right next to you, but then why DACUS?

I have R set to Attack for ledge shenanigans (especially as Ganondorf) and other arguably nifty tricks.

true jiggz know how to short DACUS AND full DACUS consistently
Honestly, I'd just hyphen smash if I wanted a shorter DACUS; I don't feel like messing up my DACUS timing.

My pointing finger hurt tremendously after learning to DACUS with Puff. Is there any other AT as good as Sliding Marshmallow of Death?

Sing canceling, double reversed Pounds, and DASC Rest is about all that's left.

Try being gentler while still being able to execute a dacus. My fingers never hurt.

I didn't think you posted here anymore, Y4623457991918581058.
I thought Metatitty scared you away.

...And what?

I still post around, but I have not been very active lately. That was just a weird way of saying Vanz got into the SBR-M.

I have an idea, why don't we start discussing why we all decided to main as Jigglypuffs (or play frequently as Jigglypuff) and our major accomplishments of the past as Jigglypuff players. I'll join in later. :D

Holy ****! My shoes got into the SBR-M!
ROFL!! This made my day.

BTW, I'm really trying to come up with a good strategy to fight Metaknight. This match up has been kicking my *** lately and I'm running out of ideas. Even Metaknights that are no where near as experienced as I am can keep up or beat me =|

I don't want to resort to camping, but I might have to. any ideas?

approaching meta is a bad idea in general. never try to combo meta. stay clear of the edges.
dair a lot, its the only move that meta struggles against

and also if anyone has some good toon link tips let me know. i play this one toon link who basically forces you to chase him around the stage. im pretty much perfect shielding **** as he runs the clock and z-air/ arrow or bomb spams me. i can get around this and even the score, but there's no way to play confidently in this match up as he upsmashes Oos every five seconds and hes memorized when i go in for grabs and such.
hella annoying. haha

MK is an absolutely terrible match-up, it's about time people started realizing that. I'm sick and tired of losing to worse players just because they play MK...

Haven't played much TL, but I do recall Quivo saying it was obnoxious that he couldn't combo puff. I guess that's one thing we have going for us. My only advice is to catch his bombs, avoid zair at all costs, and try to utilize pound's spacing mindgames to the fullest. Honestly, he's fast, has disjointed hitboxes, and projectiles. In the hands of a good player there is no reason TL should lose to puff. Maybe you could gimp him or something...?

For TL: I'd say go for the gimp. I don't have much experience with TL but I do know he has a better recovery than Link does. So I'd say WOP horizontally until he can't recover. He has good vertical recovery but his horizontal recovery sucks.

For MK: Dair and pound? No clue. When against MK I use MK.

i usually kill with gimps anyway, and im good at catching bombs/nanerz. because hes always running away he gets hit with dacus a lot.
its just so hard to stay consistent because the projectiles are frustrating
