Waat, Waat, WHYYYY is Marth better than Puff in Melee! She is arguably the best character in the game and you think Sheik and Marth are better? D: Especially because you are PAL.
Also I kinda agree with the Brawl tierlist, but hell no is Puff better than Ness, no damn way.

Jigglypuff doesn't do very well vs. mid tiers in Melee and gets countered by several top tiers. Marth, on the other hand, has a great match-up spread, Sheik's is pretty good as well.

Marth has also been placing consistently better in tournaments recently, and Sheik has always been considered good.

She's massively overrated in Melee >_> Now that people have learnt to just out-camp her, she is nowhere near as big of a threat as she was a couple of years ago.

No top tiers really counter Puff in Melee.

I don't buy into the Young Link thing, I think Armada is just really good and HBox is approaching the match-up wrong, eh.

Who the hell knows how to play against YL anyways? I don't even know half of his moveset.
And the only char I am aware Puff loses to is Fox.

She loses slightly to Falco, even though it is considered even. And she definitely loses to Marth. Probably loses to Ganondorf as well.

Peach and Falcon could go either way, probably slightly Puffs favour...
I'd say that Ice Climbers beat her as well, though I'm biased.

And she does pretty terrible against most mid tiers, lol. Basically even with the Marios and Pikachu, doesn't even beat any of the low tiers THAT hard.

And Puff is supposed to be like IC worst MU from what I heard.

You haven't heard very much then because Peach is very obviously Ice Climbers' worst match-up, lol.

And from a pure design point of view, it doesn't make much sense that Puff would beat Marth, really.

I don't know much about Peach so I guess it's IC worst then. Puff isn't easy anyways.

Puff has a lot of advantages against Marth. Marth can make it hard for Puff to land a hit, but once she does she can keep going for a lot of damage. Marths grabgame is also very limited against Puff. Puff can easily slip through a fair using her mobility and bairing during the small lag if it isn't perfectly spaced.

If having more range and stuff is all it needs, why isn't Marth the best.

Also, is that NTSC or PAL? Since Sheik isn't toptier in PAL.

I was in a small melee tourney today. Didn't pass to the bracket, but I did pretty well against some of the tough players.
And I had a Puff ditto in pools. It was the last pool set so everyone was watching. That was awesome. It's going to be on youtube lol. :D

After the MK ban in Finland I have felt so pointless. I don't have any other great character who I could place well with. I have tried several characters, but it didn't just work.
That's why I am considering maining Puff at tournament level. She is by far my best character and Puff needs more players anyways. I doesn't matter if Puff sucks, I wouldn't place high with anything else anyways.
