I don't give a damn if you are back. You broke the combo that I was planning on breaking.

Seriously though, it's good to have you back. Don't post porny here.

I won't post porny.

Though i think someone reported me -.-
If you want you can post porny to me on AIM or Skype (most likely the former).
Though keep it off here cause I'd hate to see you gone from here again. :<

Also some potentially reported you? O_O
You suspect on the pony thread or here (or wherever else you posted porny)?

Guys, I'm devastated.

I got 5-0'd by a freaking Captain Falcon. He wouldn't die until around 200%, I'm not even kidding, mad DI. His uair kills quite early, it's weird. And it's especially aggravating because I owned his Marth AND his Snake, he doesn't even main Falcon. I was killing his Snake earlier than his Falcon...

Oh man. I thought I'd never type this, but, any tips against Falcon? How come I have issues with one of the 3 characters we counter? So upset.

I came close to beating Ally's Falcon in low tiers before. I lost tho

Also, you need to learn to respect every character in this game. Most of the time people lose to Jiggs because they don't respect her and treat her like a ****ty character that they can mindlessly rush in on. Falcon is just one of those other characters you've got to respect and plank the hell out of.

I'm sorry if it seemed like I don't respect Falcon, it's just that I'm genuinely surprised that I got 5-0'd by a character that we supposedly counter, while I managed to beat two characters that give us a really, really bad time.

And yes, I lacked patience and knowledge. It was so awful because he's really fast in the air and all his aerials are KO moves against us (uair was killing me most of the time). It also seems to me like a lot of his moves don't have a lot of lag, it's kind of difficult to punish. His ^B is really annoying and makes for a pretty decent recovery move, I wasn't able to rest-punish him out of his recovery.

But the worst part was killing him. It was usual for him to be around 100% while I was well below 40%, and then he surviving until 200% while getting early kills on me. Again, mad DI.

You need to learn to practice edge-guarding Falcon, it seems. Be mad aggressive off-stage with fairs to keep him off, his up-b is quite linear and has a poor hit-box if you are above it.

And Marth vs. Jigglypuff is overrated. I almost beat the second best Marth in Australia in a money match (not that that means much, cause it's Australia. But I regularly play against a Marth who knows the match-up as well, it's definitely possible and WAY easier than Snake/G&W).

Yeah, agree about Marth. It can get bad, but not nearly as much as those two. Dies very early and we can actually gimp him.

About edge-guarding Falcon: dair works against his recovery, and you can do it 2 or 3 times before he gets to the stage. I love being 2-3 jumps below the ledge and fair my recovering opponent if possible, but I felt that was like asking for a stage spike against Falco's ^B. I need Falco experience, which is going to be difficult to get offline around here.

Falcon has no priority. Use Pound and bair. Space him out. Falcon isn't also a character that should be living to 200%. Fair is your best killing option and you should be killing with it fresh around 120%.
Also, I have no idea why you're trying to hit him with rest out of his up b. He has a lot of horizontal air movement after he does it and you're much better off edgeguarding him. Like Grim said he's got a linear recovery so try and gimp him with a bunch of nairs, bairs, and dair. Even if you don't kill him, you'll still get a ton of damage on him. Also, if U air is killing you alot, then don't be above him when he can kill you with it. Fight him on the same level, space him out, out priortize him with pound.

I didn't try to rest his ^B, I simply noticed it was pretty much impossible as opposed to Ganondorf's. And I know about the killing %, it's so unbelievable that I couldn't kill him early. But I swear my fresh fair wasn't killing him around 120%! I wish I had the replays, some of the fairs (and dashes) he survived were downright crazy.

Thanks for the tips guys! I'll be facing this Falcon again, I'll let you know if things change :p

I play against a top Falcon, M. Lorenzo alot.
What i've learned is that Falcon is really good defensively. This is a matchup you really want to take slowly. If falcon is rushing in, everything he does, with the exception of maybe that ******** utilt is punishable on shield. You can duck under his jab and grab. Uair isn't too bad in this MU either, surprisngly.

This MU is really played as a get in, get out. I for one, don't agree with planking. I do it on brinstar, but thats really it. As long as you play safe, no need to spend the time planking. If you must, by all means. But with falcon, he's a really fast character and we out class him in alot of things.

Utilt is really good for edgeguarding us. If you're at kill percents, learn not to try to punish anything, and just stay safe. once you have the lead, keep on truckin'. Dont approach.

Like i said, this isn't a Link MU where you can approach, gimp, repeat. Falcon has good mobility and speed.

He'll get ya.

I really don't think the Marth MU is overrated. If the Marth knows how to zone properly against puff, you're screwed. Fair beats everything.
