I don't know. I was really good when this game first came out but now I've just been getting worse and everyone else has been getting better. I can't do **** with Jiggs and then I lose to low tier Yoshi in the worst way possible. Coming back home while being frustrated as **** is not something I want to do at every tournament and I've already felt like that at Cot5 and this tournament. Brawl is just a supergay game and I'm tired of playing it.

Sorry to hear that Jigglymaster =\ But take some time and cool off, yeah? Maybe take a bit of a break or something. I've said I was gonna quit multiple times, and I always come back >_>
Best 8000th post ever :bee:

Guys, I'm quitting Brawl for good. I'm done trying to make Jiggs good in tourney, I'm done trying to do good in tourny myself. I'm just done.

Back to Jiggs being a dead character.

Guys, I'm quitting Brawl for good. I'm done trying to make Jiggs good in tourney, I'm done trying to do good in tourny myself. I'm just done.

I got gayed twice against Delta Cod. 1st match I was winning with a huge lead last life but I get 0 to death. 2nd match I have 2 lives high % he has 1 life with 21%. He kills me with 13 seconds left on the clock and I wait in the respawn for the next 7 seconds or so, I lose my invinsibility and its about 5 seconds left. He gets a dair on me and then a nair at 1 second left and beats me by %5.

As soon as that happend I ragged mad hard, stormmed out of the building and drove home and probably now I'm going to be the laughing stock of the tournament. I don't want to deal with any of this and I never have fun at tournaments anymore. I've tried everything to do good with Jiggs or myself in general but I just can't and I never want to enter another tournament ever again.

Also I used Diddy not Jiggs against Delta because going Jiggs vs Yoshi is suicide and all his does is just camp and throw **** all day.

Cya everyone
Don't do it Alex :-\
I'm sorry about the tourney, everyone has bad tourneys. :(
I'm sorry man.

;_;

But, Who will rep jigglypuff :c
:(
I will.

I've never played competitive 64, but I used Ness. Does anyone know why he dropped so much on the Smash64 tier List? I feel like he's underrated :(
He was overrated, actually.

His recovery is TRASH, he dies as soon as he is off-stage. He has very few approach options, and only average combo ability.

He was just put really high due to DJC, people thought it made him amazing.

In regards to DaPuffster: :urg:

Don't worry about the loss itself. Yoshi does fine against Diddy, and Delta Cod is legit.

I do know how you feel though.
both matches were easy victories for me. He just got 2 miricales in a row and won the set 2-0.

First round I had to fight Pierce's Marth. First match I slid off the side of Lylat by accident and tried to recover only to hit the lip and die at 0%. 2nd match I went Jiggly vs Marth on Frigate. Almost won the match because he missed a up b out of shield at 80% I was standing below the platform and he fell through like I predicted, I attempted to rest him but I missed and died since I was at 150% or something like that.

I'm probably not going to leave the boards becaues I like talking with you guys. But I'm not going to attend anymore tournaments or talk about in game stuff.

Ummm were you trashed when you posted that Mr. G&W? cause the spelling in your text is horrible.
That's not how you spell mink and I don't know who "nub" is though I'm guessing you're talking about noobicidal.

Also I know this is late, but I'm sorry things were rough and gay for ya jigglymaster. I can easily see why you'd rage about that.

If you were offstage and aimed your PKT2 at the ledge, would it sweetspot it? I haven't played that game in years lol, so I don't remember :embarrass: But if it does, I don't really see why it would be worse than...say, Fox's recovery. I agree with the other stuff though.

I'm about to kill myself
Suicide is always the solution :D And pocket MK is also always the solution ^.^

You won but left.

well this doesn't make me feel any better. I guess nobody bothered to come out and stop me either, still had to get in my car and set up the GPA to go back home. Nobody called me either.

I didn't check, and I didn't tell you anything. You just read it over the boards.

Puffster, I beat you game 1 because you jumped into my Fair when I released you offstage. You had jumped out of it every time earlier in the match, and I needed a kill fast, so I went for the spike.

I beat you game 2 because I got mad lucky, no lie. I was just swinging and happened to hit you with a lucky Fair that sent you into Diddy's "I just got hit out of my recovery!" tumble so I was able to get the extra Nair off on the end.

The set was VERY close, there's no reason you should want to quit because I beat you.

Hi Jigglypuff players!
I'm still quitting. This game isn't fun for me because I can't play good as Jigglypuff. Tons of matches I'm forced to go Diddy Kong and even then I still can't win. So its get ***** or get ***** harder. I haven't gotten better at this game in years and I'm performing worse and worse at tournaments now. I don't want to come home from tournaments upset anymore and the only way to not stop that is to be good at this game which I'm not either. So I just quit.

Puffster, it's a fighting game. It sucks really bad to lose. and being good with jiggz is hard. Trust me. I live in one of the hardest regions.
It's really rough to get gayed. Alot of times, i think the game is stupid. Which it is.

It's just, sometimes you have to suck up your pride and keep gettin' better. Just do your best.

To make matters worse, the match was recorded and is most likely going to be put up against my own will. And we'll have another one of these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fbmu8fGcWaw

It's going to happen again, and if I does I'll be made a laughing stock, again. I'm never going to want to show my face around here again if that happens. So make sure that video doesn't get put up.

You're going to be a laughingstock if you keep badmouthing yourself and allowing one loss against a certain campy-*** Yoshi in a child's party game make you quit for good. Just man up and think to yourself "Yeah, I sometimes rage-quit; deal with it."

I was like that for a while after Plank put up his match against me even though I requested him not to. But look at the comments. It's been over 2 years now and people are still making fun of me. Even at the tournament yesterday someone came up to me and asked if I was puffster, I said yes and then they started taunting me about my match against Plank.

Now i'll have another one of those infamous videos on youtube and EVEN MORE people will make fun of me.

The same ******* that commented on that video are the same people that say M2K is crap, they could beat Ken if they had the chance to play him, "Thumbs up if Linkin Park is good and Bieber is bad", and will argue without cited sources about religion on any given video, regardless of the subject matter.

You're old enough to not let petty things bother you, or so I'd hope. By no means am I being condescending at all. Please stop taking people who have no idea what they are talking about seriously.

I just feel like its my time to go anyways. I've been very unactive these past few years for a reason. I'd go to a national every once in a while because I always played well there. Did ****ty at the last national and then did ****ty here. People are getting too good at this game for me and I really should just be moving on with my life and get back to Illustration. I'm 19, I should be focusing on my college Major not a childs party game.

you're no where near the laughing stock that that IC is.

Move to florida if it gets released, and play w/ us. I've been JV 4 stocked in tournament vs a wario, we ended the game, i laughed and asked him why he wasn't going to save that, he was afraid of hurting my feelings, then i asked him if he thinks he could ever do that again vs me, and he said no. then i told him, hats reason enough to save it. if you so something you normally shouldn't be able to do, then yeah you get to save the match.

Trust me Jigglymaster i know more about losing games you should have won more than anyone. It's not worth quitting on your goals and on your hopes. maybe it's because i'm a starcraft player but in starcraft every time i lose a game, i save the replay, watch it, and learn from my mistakes in order to make me a better player. in brawl all i see players do is either save every game in order to show everything from an event, or saving games they won. the same effort isn't put into brawl that is in starcraft. Which when i see makes me wonder about EVERYTHING that has been established in brawl

no one works as hard at improving in this game as a middle of the pack pro Starcraft player like I did. so focus entirely on the improvement and not on the outcomes jiggly. I truly believe that there is no unwinnable matchups and there are no matchups worth switching characters for. that and the fact that i take time mid match and after losses and wins to know exactly what happened to cause the outcome.
Mink can attest to the fact that i improve at a pretty quick rate compared to the rest of the region all of which play immensely more than me.

i know you are an amazing puff player right NOW. so if you sit down and clear your head of this thing and focus on your own growth as a player, you can definitely completely improve your game beyond what you think possible.

I'm asking you to do this, even though i don't know you, for the sake of the other puffs, since knowledge you gain, they can learn from. no one else here is in position to lead the way like you are. so please for the sake of everyone else on this board, keep working and dedicate yourself to improvement over results, and the results will come.

If you're going to quit playing competitively to further your career, then that's a completely different matter. I sure as hell won't attempt to stop you.

You can still play Brawl for ****s and giggles. If nothing else, you can try drunken Ganon FFAs
once you reach the legal drinking age, of course

so please for the sake of everyone else on this board, keep working and dedicate yourself to improvement over results, and the results will come.
I'd rather him be happy than for him to fulfill some inherent desire I apparently have for Puff to succeed. The last thing you want to do right now if you really cared about him is to beg him to keep doing something he doesn't enjoy anymore.

I've always had 2 dreams. Doing awesomly well with Jiggs in tournament to give her the respect she's always deserved, and to succeed in getting a job in Animation/Illustraion.

1 doesn't have a chance of coming true, but the other is already starting to look real. No, I don't have a job yet and I don't expect to for a couple more years. But I made it into an Arts University and I've already completed my first year and have leared alot about drawing.

Well now that the video isn't going to be put up I don't have to leave. Like I said before the only thing that is going to change is that I'm not going to attened tournaments anymore. I'll still visit the Jigglypuff boards regularly.

I think you're just mad at the moment. That inner-rage will go away after a week/month. It always goes that way.

I quit competetive brawl a year ago. I haven't been to tourneys in forever, but I still play it frequently with my friends, for the same reason: getting older and doing something with your life. But don't give us this bs about quitting because ''you lost gay'', if so.. I can show you a lot of matches that were actually gayer and were about a lot of money.

Good luck.

But you see, I used to attend tournaments normally, and then I "quit" and then for the past year or two I don't play this game. I just went to a tournament every once in a while. Well I just quit doing that. So its like a double quit. So I've gone from Many, to some, and now none.
