Most people who main low tier characters play as them because they are their favorites. I mean, if you don't like them then why the hell are you wasting your time not using a better character? The main reason I don't play MK is because I don't like MK. I play Jiggs because I like Jiggs, not because she's my best character.

I main Jiggs in SSB64, Melee, Brawl, and soon SSB4.

So you're definatly a first in my book lol

Personally I think that Igglybuff is a creepy, gross looking rip-off of Jiggly but maybe that's just me...

Well I'm back from my first casual melee tourney using Jigglypuff. Pretty much did as good as I'd expect myself to do.
At least I learned how to use Jigglypuff a lot more effectively in the game.

Edit:
I'm not certain why I decided on using her. I guess because she's awesome enough.
Granted I only use her in melee and sometimes on the 64.

PG, I used to main puff in melee, but then she became top tier so I started using my true best character, Yoshi. I also use Pichu and Mario, but in serious matches, I go 100% Yoshi, cuz he's amazing. Imo, he should be bottom of low tier, not top of Negligible, because he's not actually hopeless but is still bad and can recover worth ****, but yeah.

Before I got into competitive play I played as Mario in the N64 and Melee. Then when I got into competitive melee I switched my main character to Jigglypuff. Played Melee until Brawl came out and then stopped going to melee tournaments. When I mained Jigglypuff in Melee she wasn't top tier like she is now.

I use Yoshi/Mario/Jiggs in every Smash game, but I also use Pichu in Melee and Bowser/Dedede in Brawl. Straight Yoshi in every game when it gets serious though.

I wish I had a "**** JUST GOT REAL" character! Its sad man, none of the people I play are any better then the others. Atleast not by much. ;~; Pika's the closest to my "serious" character button.

A few reasons:
a) I like being unique
b) I want to prove Jigglypuff is better than her tier placement suggests
c) She is my best character.

In Smash 64, I started with Ness then moved on to Yoshi. I'm going to be learning Fox soon.

In Melee, I've used everyone at some point in my life, lol. Now I main Ice Climbers and Falco.

In Brawl, I use MK, G&W, Pikachu (Snake MU), Jigglypuff and Fox.

I used Jiggs because I thought she was cool and I like how she was in 64. Im mostly a big Mario fanatic (If you want me to continue after Dedede, my next 2 favorites are Peach then Luigi) so Yoshi and Mario stood out to me, and my first character I ever used was Yoshi because Yoshi's Story was the first game I ever beat 100% though, and I really liked that game. Since then, I always got all of the Yoshi games and would use Yoshi in every game he was available.

@Sunny: I actually rarely go Yoshi in friendlies, I'd rather just beat them as Bowser or something lol, but if **** gets real ITS YOSHI TIME, *****!!

For me?

64 I always played Ness, Link, and Samus. I've since switched to Yoshi.

Melee I played waaaaaaaaaay too many characters, now I just play Icies and Young Link.

Brawl I've mained almost every single character at least once, now I play Dedede, PT, Jigglypuff, Lucario, and Ice Climbers, depending on who I'm most comfortable as. I stopped playing Ganon after people started feeling the need to CP to Falco and Icies despite me being bad.

From what I understand, he has a really solid game on stage with excellent tech chase game, but he dies as soon as he's off-stage.

Guys, I'm quitting Brawl for good. I'm done trying to make Jiggs good in tourney, I'm done trying to do good in tourny myself. I'm just done.

I got gayed twice against Delta Cod. 1st match I was winning with a huge lead last life but I get 0 to death. 2nd match I have 2 lives high % he has 1 life with 21%. He kills me with 13 seconds left on the clock and I wait in the respawn for the next 7 seconds or so, I lose my invinsibility and its about 5 seconds left. He gets a dair on me and then a nair at 1 second left and beats me by %5.

As soon as that happend I ragged mad hard, stormmed out of the building and drove home and probably now I'm going to be the laughing stock of the tournament. I don't want to deal with any of this and I never have fun at tournaments anymore. I've tried everything to do good with Jiggs or myself in general but I just can't and I never want to enter another tournament ever again.

Also I used Diddy not Jiggs against Delta because going Jiggs vs Yoshi is suicide and all his does is just camp and throw **** all day.
