Careful; it may not seem like it but it is in fact punishable if misused. But yeah I ****ing love Fsmash.

Title idea: "ITT: We make metaknight MORE broken"
I'd use if for scape some kinds of pressure, not for random spam.
I still love it, tho...

Title could also be "MK's Gameplay Thread: Sharing tips to become da bess"
Or something that includes "Galaxia" somewhere.

You mean like grab if you're really close and that's it?

Maybe ftilt kinda works. Or Dtilt? I think that's just the other MK not holding shield though.

Gliding into the ground as a mix-up so that you slide past your opponent is pretty good (it's rather gimmicky, though). If they don't attack you before you hit the ground, grab OoS shouldn't get you and you can react to their option from there. If they grab or spot-dodge, get-up attack. If they do anything else, you can either get-up and time the invincibility frames or roll away. It's mostly just a gimmick, but I haven't been punished for doing yet. Don't over-use it.

wanna know the stupidest gimmick ever?

you GSL, and if you whiff it, you glide into the ground (so your face is flat on the ground; like you know how if you glide into the ground without canceling it you can get up, get up roll, or get up attack) and then u get up attack and they cant hit you in the invincibility frames

I just thought about buffering short hop UAir to punish another MK using tornado at low %.
Gives him a lot of damage, if you follow up with more UAirs.

Don´t know, if it works well against tornado, need to test that.

Theorycrafting, yay.

I think MKs should start using Uair > Dair out of Glide Attack at low percents, it seems to lead into more follow ups and does the same amount of damage

I think they should start using Glide Attack to Footstool to Nair to DTilt Lock. ;D

I guess you gotta eat fer Float and dair her away and then it's kinda done. Don't let her go under the ledge, her parachute has crazy priority.

yeah, her umbrella straight up beats anything you will throw at it unless you have ledge invincibility, and because she can float she can stall that out most of the time. stay below her where possible, her dair will beat shuttle loop but if she throws it out carelessly you can hit her during the cool down frames

If I fair Marths shield (spaced fair, just the tip of the fair hits it) is Marth able to instant up b me?
If yes, is Marth able to do this on reaction or does he have to do it early, so that I can bait it and punish?

So this german doucheba-ORION IS BBR??? WHAT THE ****???

Anyways, as I was saying, this german douche bag says that I not only am completely repetitive, but I don't know how to approach. I'm not seeing either of those two things. In case it's not clear, he completely stomps my ****. What do?

pretty sure fair is almost always if not always punishable by DS OOS, MK can barely retreat and DS has frame 1 invincibility so he doesn't even need to wait for your cooldown frames. someone should test that though

I´m speaking about the tip off the fair.
I really don´t know, if up b goes through.
I think I tested this once with Semifer and it worked from time to time, not sure though.

Are you speaking about me BPC? Oo

MetaKnight Uprising :S

:urg: I have been trying to find out how to master the technique where you get the opponent to decent percentage, throw him in the air, keep using Uair, and then press B special a few times to do the tornado but fly up a good distance bringing your opponent out of the top of the screen. Any help please? :c

Your opponent can air dodge through it, so you need to predict their air dodge (or lack thereof) and then jump>B. This requires that you be spaced accordingly, however. Fast-fallers are, ironically enough, the best at avoiding B at the end.

You could try swapping to the claw hand (pulling the index finger down over Y, moving your middle finger to cover R and Z), and jump+upC-stick as needed, then move the thumb up to push B. I mean it doesn't cover the prediction aspect of the combo, but it DOES make the movements more fluid and natural which can help in pulling them off as far as technique goes.
