Just remember how little invincibility MK's rolls have. If they predict you you can probably get glide attacked.

P4 is always bitter and really quick to snap, especially for a mod, but he posts in a way that you can tell he's not like that in person so it's cool.

Then...why do it? We have plenty of other options to beat out an approaching glide attack.

And I like bluepeachy's idea lol. BTW thank you for having a gayer name than me. Somebody out there had to.

And yeah P4, bitter wasn't really the word. I dunno.

i was talking about like glide attack to nair as a combo, but instead of a regular nair, your pivot nair lol
why would you do this
if you wanted to follow up with anything after you would have to pivot again

HEY GUYS LETS MAKE SOMETHING THATS SIMPLE extra technical and give my opponent more time to sdi out

exactly, it's SO USELESS! xD

i do it in friendlies for ****s and giggles, tho. because i live around scrubs and if i do more than like 40% to them at a time, they'll walk away and stop playing, and i'm left with the computers again. =(

To mix up...

also at 0%, you can do glide attack >foot stool> falling nair > dtilt lock

Hey I don't post often but I read stuff all the time. Recently I've been looking into all the things you can do before and after dtilt from the very obvious to really abstract. If you KNOW they'll spot dodge after it, buffer all 3 hits of ftilt. Personally, I think dtilt is his 3rd best move after sl and uair. Sooo many **** things with it.

Back to the usmash stuff, you know how when you hit somebody shielding on a platform they fall off and can't tech? If we hit them off with usmash do we recover in time for a dtilt lock? Bc hyphen smash is probly the fastest way when at a distance to knock them off as they're shielding. This could probly work if you condition them to expect nado.

Just making sure. I saw a match with dehf vs tyrant on bf and tyrant was shielding on a platform, dehf baired him and followed with fsmash for the kill. I thought that's something we could abuse but I wasn't sure what our best option is for knocking them off without shield poking

idk what order id put his best moves in but its definitely those 3 lmao

i never go for platform knockoffs with mk, i just abuse shield pressure but ill mess around w/ it some

A couple pages back somebody said that usmash shield pokes easily underneath platforms which may screw that up, but in order for it to push them off the platform, it has to have enough knockback to do it. Idk what makes a move push them off but thats the easiest way to net dtilt locks, unless you dthrow somebody and they do NOTHING (noobs lmao).

I'd love to see a picture with the hitboxes of all his tilts. I'd imagine it makes a near perfect quarter circle with a crapton of range. Staying grounded and camping with tilts wrecks sooo many characters it isnt even funny.

So combined it does make a huge quarter circle in front of you. So against any character with less range than us that has to approach we can literally stand still and space tilts. Too good. SH uair could be included too since its so fast and that contributes to the small open space between ftilt3 and utilt. And of course we have GSL and Nair OoS.

Defensive MK is da bess

Interesting how sl has a hitbox below it I never knew that. Back to exploring our whole moveset.

I think bair is a move with great untapped potential. Retreated bair beats dash attacks pretty well. Something I tried in training mode is rar sh dair (to cover your rise, not to connect) bair (only the first hit comes out) dsmash. It all happens pretty quick and is a good kill set up. Ima keep trying stuff but I really like the move. Ledge hop bair seems good against horizontal recoveries (dk and bowser come to mind) you can land it onstage to ftilt and other stuff that's pretty nice.

Edit: after I posted I thought about the rar dair thing. If they shield you can just start to dair camp or rather than dsmash you can sh nair and it should shield poke.

God I love MK

I've been reading and paying attention for a long time I just recently started feeling comfortable enough to post and not sound like a noob. I need to start playing ranked socal players. I also have an IQ of 144 lol. MK boards ftw.

Edit: btw I've been using mk since the games release along with marth

M2K likes to edge guard with Bair. As long as you space it right, not even MK can punish a whiffed Bair off-stage. It's especially useful in the ditto when someone begins using B to get back onto the stage and you don't have the spacing to Up-B it instead.

Something I don't see used enough with MK and I net a lot of kills with marth using it is ledge JUMP bair. Ledge hopping doesn't have the same vertical acceleration that ledge jumping does if they recover high. Nair dair and uair are also usefull with ledge jumping. For snake when he dj > cyper if we ledge jump sl we get similar acceleration and we may be able to hit him off before he can airdodge. Ledge jump tornado/dair camp/glide are options we could try when getting back onstage vs mk and marth. Tornado will be high enough where we can space it to autocancel which could be a good bait.

MK's bair is amazing. One thing though, I've seen a LOT of people try to use the first two hit of bair>dsmash. This will never work and almost always results in getting it powershielded. Grabbing, dtilting, or ftilting is MUCH safer.
