HAI IKE MAINS! Any of you talk to YagamiLight in the past year?

Hai.

He's been around, can't remember when the last time was... definitely sometime this year though. He said he was leaving for good IIRC, but then he came back. Why do you ask?

We're like Reddit. We have a great sense of humor. But we're also cynical. And if you make a joke that doesn't make sense or hold well, you won't be rewarded for it, to say the least.

I learnt that the suicidal co-worker was discharged from the hospital on thursday. Because he was in my pub on friday night.
He planned on sleeping in the doorway, what the hell is up with the world at times?

Also, im now quoted in a sig legitimately (by gheb, attempting namesearch lol) and i have a small sense of achievment.
looks like i need to find something to do with my life after my working contract ends

Got 3rd at a tourney yesterday, 1st in doubles. We tried a funky new way of doing it, where we use 4-player pools to advance the loser's side of the bracket. Provides much better accuracy for results.

We did a crews battle after the tourney because we finished early, and there was a super-hilarious moment I want to show you guys, but it's not uploaded yet.

Basically, yah. In a 16-player bracket there would be a total of 3 pools in the losers bracket. Eight players end up in the first round of losers, so those players are divided into two pools of four. They play round robins and the player who emerges on top of each pool advances two rounds in the bracket. There, they meet up with the two players who entered losers further ahead and form another four-player pool, and same thing, winner advances to losers finals.

In each pool you have a clear 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th, rather than just 1st, 2nd and a tie for 3rd, so it allows for greater accuracy in results. For a 32-player bracket or 64-player bracket you just make more pools, but it's the exact same concept.

I remember seeing that thing about the 4player pools. Glad to see it worked.

Edit: I take it that it didn't take too much longer than regular bracket? There's less bottlenecks with getting matches in because the people that are there can still play anyways.

Edit: I take it that it didn't take too much longer than regular bracket? There's less bottlenecks with getting matches in because the people that are there can still play anyways.

Yah, it basically amounts to one extra set being played per pool, so three extra sets for the tourney. But normally by the time you get close to LFs you'd have idle set-ups anyways, so it really doesn't make much difference time-wise.

Yah, although the pools only start with round 2 of losers; I put round 1 before by mistake.

Nys that's a pretty awesome way of doing things. Cause it let's lesser players get serious matches for more experience in while the better ones don't have to play too much.

Well, he'd make teams like "Team Tropical" using pokemon like Sharpedo and Exeggcutor and somehow he'd get to like... 15th on the ladder with them.
I remember once he made an uber team with Bellossom and Victreebel and SOMEHOW he was winning matches with it. XD

but he gets heavy props for using those mons well, im only capable of encorporating shuckle into teams as a gimmick
