edit: @ xyro: And I know the scene isn't what it use to be but really any game eventually loses it's hype. We can still have a good scene though. Just because we can't get something that awesome back doesn't mean we sink the whole ship.

If you lower your standards and re-define the definition of "good scene" then yea i agree. But a scene of 20-30 people AT BEST? thats not cool man and many have already expressed that there is no incentive to attend stuff that weak.

I disagree Flip. All we really need is a strong TO who doesn't take crap or delay.

I know a scene like that isn't that good. But I hope it'll snowball effect. If my region knew that nearby tournaments of 20-30 people were happening we'd start a carpool then maybe someone else would and so on. It's really easy for you to say it's pointless with no hope, you're done with this scene and so are the people who talk like that.

I saw you make so many exceptions and take so much crap it would clog the world's largest toilet. I was mainly referring to him not participating in the game. I think he'd need help getting people to actually listen to him. Oh the tears and whining when he DQs someone for being late or disappearing would be so sweet.

When i passed the torch to Sync, i gave advice. It wasn't used. When you asked me a while back i gave you the same advice. It wasnt used.

I did use your advice though and I got some of my regions best attendance in the year. I just haven't been able to hold a tournament. The only advice I didn't use was banning MK or not.

For real though, I don't even tyrant it. I just run the tourney. I have fun. I enjoy hosting. And I enjoy brawl. And I do both as an enjoyable TO, and as far as I can tell, it's working out.

Don't think I'm hating on your TO skills, either. You put a ton of time and work and did a ton of stuff way better than other TOs. I always saw you doing lots of stuff for people that made their day/helped them out/ made the tournament possible for them and you didn't expect anything in return. I have a lot of respect for you as a person because of this.

New rumors emerge regarding Smash 4

Namco-Bandai is working with Sakurai to get a fully working demo at E3 for Smash Bros. Sakurai really took to heart the complaints about the single player game and the online game. He is solving this by making the single player very deep this time done by the Tales series people and is planning to have a Network Beta of the game for download the day of Nintendo’s E3 show. This way they can beta test online for about one year before they ship the game.
