Has anyone tried playing on a Wii running Melee without a disc? I have it set up and it ran fine for a few training matches but I dunno if it's suitable for friendlies. Definitely wouldn't trust it with tournament. Either way, though, if this works, it means I have access to another setup.

Hey I'm in Ontario for a bit, I'm a brawl player though. Do they have their own social thread or is this brawl and melee?

You can play it off an SD card.

Yes, that's what I'm doing. I worded it weirdly because I can't remember what the Smashboards rules on this kind of discussion are. Anyway, I remember the menu was lagging but I think it ran fine in-game so I'll probably use it as a setup if I ever host something.

I need a new controller, do you guys know where i can get a good one?

Anyone want to go to A&C today? I'm not sure what fighting game is tourneying today, but I doubt the CRTs will be in use so there should be space.

How far can I ride without turning back?
Is it just me, or does Bladewise's Peach look like mine used to?

He just nair's a lot more in places I wouldn't (not talking about to end combos like I should).

His decision making and movement feel really at home LOL. It's like quick, burst-movement and attacks into psuedo combos...He needs to use b-air more tho...it's actually really good (<3 soft b-air into strong b-air edgeguards on Falcon). Feels like he has the same habits too XD.

(Only watched him vs s2j btw).

Lol, they thought David and I were twins and when David said he was five years old than me, they thought he was 30.

I'm still recovering from the scream of that girl who yelled that she was 16 practically in my face after finding out I was 17.
