I'm still up $2 in our series =P (from the time I visited your home in Oakville)

Also, I have a few comments regarding the ppl you listed (no mad/hate, just saying).
It's hard to actually conclude (strictly based on facts) that I'm bad vs. Peach. Excluding the *one* half-***** set I had vs. James, I've lost tourney sets to only ppl who are well known, (i.e. Vwins, and on a lesser note (relatively) DoH, and Kirbykaze-david) and in those games I was super nervous

If abusing Peach weaknesses was as ideal as it sounds, then Armada wouldn't place top 2 in tournies. Also, Camillo ***** DoH at Pound.

I won't deny or defend that Kurtis is bad vs. Peach tho :awesome:

Furthermore, if we can consider friendlies in, we can look at the night spent in the Hotel room post-Pound with MacD playing everyone in friendlies. There were people who did far worse (i.e. Tristan getting continuously 2-3 stocked by MacD, (no hate :p)) than Camillo and I vs. him; the two of us were probably doing the best (excluding EB who was also in the room, but for the sake of discussing the GTA scene), and Kyle I think too but I *honestly* can't really remember too well of that night since I was napping in intervals for the drive the next day. Don't worry tho I'll work on my Peach game/mindset for next time I play James/David/you guys.

Also, Nick, you did poorly vs. my Peach in friendlies. I'll give you some lee-way though, since everytime I told you to try you said you'd have to "play gay and needle camp." Though it's unproven how I'd do against that playstyle (no David you don't need to prove it for him, but you'd beat me playing not gay anyways :))

Lastly, I wasn't going to mention it, but since everyone has been, I'll say now that it's quite evident that I'm not one trashing David's chars. I honestly can't think of who would, so in the case that I might be I'll say it now. Maybe cuz I don't interact with the scene as much as I could/should/would like to. I'd also take you up on your MMs, but I think you'd go just as seriously or not so seriously in friendlies and still win/teach me all the same =p

speaking of johns. iirc macd 1-stocked me twice in those friendlies. one of them was only 'cause i missed a rest at the last stock. i only played him twice 'cause it was like 4 am...honestly i almost didn't play him at all, i was so tired, but i figured i might as well since i couldn't get to sleep with all the smash going on anyway. i don't think either of us were seriously trying, i'm sure he was tired too and we were both approaching way more than you're supposed to in jiggs peach.

Rapid, I'm hosting tomorrow if you want to come. I live at highway 7 and warden. Anyone else interested in coming?

I'm not doing anything tomorrow other than getting a hair cut. I might watch the Captain Falcon movie tomorrow though. It's supposed to be really hype.

Unknown522 sort of plays 64. He can also probably direct you to some of the more outspoken members of the Toronto Brawl community, since he's housed them before and communicates with one of their top players semi-frequently (Tin Man). The Greater Toronto Area Thread is mostly a Melee thread, though. If you want to reach out to the Brawl scene more proactively than through our little crowd (actually, come to think of it, sauc3 and Riddlebox also have connections into it and better ones at that lawl), the GTA Brawl thread is another one... but it shouldn't be too hard to find.

What's your availability like?

Every new kid plays Jiggs because no one who doesnt really pay attention to melee thinks puff is a ****ty character. Some other new kid ***** them as puff and thinks its awesome. I was the same way. For awhile until I actual looked into Pro Melee.

Marth,Falco,Peach, Mario and Kirby Ftw.

I do play Fox, too inconsistent to main though. Some days I can wave shine, others I cant wave dash... just as fox though...

Ic's are also Hella fun too.

Not sure about availability yet, I don't find any info about my courses for another week or so.

I'm probably just looking to play Melee anyways since I prefer it the most of the three, and I haven't entered a Brawl tourny or played brawl consistently in over a year hahaha. thanks for the info : )

Hey I don't play Puff.

Though to be fair I did used to think Jiggz sucked until the very first time I got rested at like 10% and died.

I learned to respect the puff.

Also can't make it on Saturday. Magic tournament.

Yeah, but I said I'd go to the tournament with a couple of friends, and forgot it was tomorrow. I also have a good chance of doing pretty well, I'm significantly better at Magic than at Smash. I only really lose to things that either I didn't know existed or I just draw like 3 lands the entire match. Or gayass Manabarbs, but that **** is ********.

people play jiggs at first because she's by far the easiest to pick up :p i think sheik might be second, possibly followed by marth. but jiggs will most certainly give you more success faster.

what??? When I first played this game I played marth...

Marth is so noob friendly when you play against other noobs. I saw a bunch of Ken and Azen videos and thought it'd be great to play marth. I didn't know how to L-cancel, short hop or wave dash but I could chain grab spacies and charge neutral B/F-smash to edge guard..... In 1 day I learned that from never touched the game before...
