Basically, if you are playing Ashe occasionally and/or you are playing at a lower ELO, Health Quints are a safer choice. They keep you safer early game and help you stay in lane longer through harass. If you are playing Ashe seriously and want to optimize, ArPen Quints are a better choice. They give her a stronger late game. Your choice.
APen Quints would give her a stronger early game actually. Making her do more damage with AA's and Volley. Health Quints are just plain bad. "Don't get hit" and all that jazz.

As for Cleaver and Starks: Cleaver is overcosted damage if you don't care about the passive, and Starks gives a whole ton of stats that Ashe doesn't really need. LW being changed to AD/APen is even better for Ashe, because it makes her Volley do even more. I can see Starks on an Ashe, sure why not, but not over IE/LW and definitely not before them. And Cleaver synergizes with AS heroes like Evelynn, not Ashe.

I'm still not sure why people say Nidalee can do it well.

She gets zoned out just like everyone else if they have any sort of hard CC. Healing only does so much, and doesn't even matter if you get bursted down from 80% health.

Mordekaiser is a joke right now in lane. He can't even hold a 1v1 LOL.
My friend's got 2k normal ELO and we've been running ranked, his Nid holds a 2v1 lane against Taric combos :)

I think Nids more about playing the character very well and getting rewarded based on that.

Has anyone ever used or seen someone with a full page of health/level runes? I know runes can be useful for damage or mana regen or the like, I just can't shake the idea that an extra 750 health at clvl 18 would be amazing, regardless of who you're playing. But it's 30k IP :(

His cooldowns are really high, so he just sort of stands there in teamfights and doesn't do much lol.

^ i hope they fix this soon. he's pretty fun to use.

He's prolly best built as an offtank tho. (anything u'd use on trundle or irelia)

no like you can literally just TOTALLY IGNORE HIM in teamfights because he's so useless

he's a good tank but there's no incentive to attack him

it's saddening to see Alistar just standing there in teamfights just begging "PLEASE ATTACK ME" but nobody does because that'd be a waste of mana

I would like to point out that if patches haven't ruined trundle yet the last time I played in early December I had him listed as the best off tank in the game.

Hell no. I'm kinda hoping they just decide to wipe him from the game and erase any sign that he ever existed <_<

What they should do is find a way to make it so that tanks don't completely pee on casters after level 3.

That and **** banshee's.

This game is starting to annoy me

How does Banshee's ruin casters? You can have your poke wars, and if your team plans on initiating properly, you'll get the bubbles off then within the next 20 seconds initiate.

the bubble is annoying, but the stats make it absolute hell. After you've blown your combo, you'll be useless to your team over the next couple of seconds, and there's a good chance you didn't kill. You can't wait too long to jump in because your team will get picked off easily.

idk, i just feel like casters in general get a raw deal. Not quite sure how to explain the reasons i think so.. but yeah.

In a game of strictly 5v5 poking in mid, yeah.

But everywhere else, your strategy to pop veils doesn't really work.

In arranged it seems to work out fine, let me know if it's any good in ELO hell I can't seem to get there.
Nice comeback to an objectively correct post for top level premades, man. ^^ I'll have to use that one sometime.

It's more about the fact that once everyone on the opposing team has a Banshee's (which happens a lot from what I've seen in 5s) it's teamfight/push-win time, and teamfights don't just happen out of nowhere. There's a thing called poking that goes on BEFORE the teamfights, this is where you're supposed to pop the bubbles, THEN you initiate.

If you're getting caught offguard, it's your fault for being put in that particular situation, and banshee's or not you're not taking down a tank ;)

Alistar is very underrated, watch the CLG tournament wiht Europeans, they have an Alistar solo mid that dominates.

People and their clichéd talk of "underrated" heroes.

For jungling, I've discovered that 1/15/14 makes it extremely easy. However I wonder what is more effective, having a few point in Veteran Scars or the second DR mastery? I build GA on Irelia almost every game so The extra 30 or 45 life is more appealing to me. Is there any reason to put points into the 3/3 2 DR mastery?
