I think we just got lag cheated or something.
About to push into the enemy base to finish them off.
My game suddenly freezes and it takes literally 5 mins for me to unfreeze.
By the time I got back they had completely comeback.
My friend started lagging for no reason too just at the end.

I was playing last night and there were two other people using my wifi to watch Netflix at the same time (not the same video either, separate movies) and I kept having a 2 second delay on everything I did. It was pissing me off cuz Id try to use Intervention on myself to take ults and **** and it just wouldnt work resulting in me dying an extra prob 6 times per match, it was frustrating as hell.

so now, the worst part of being first pick, i go irelia and call top, 2nd pick picks taric. they have cait, noc, and morde. our next pick is brand and he locks in, then someone picks akali and says i want a solo.... solo or jungle and then locks in...........

sooo i just started playing this game.. pretty fun so far. I play Ashe mostly, my mates play Ryze, Brand, and Veigar.. what should i be focusing on? i googled some builds and they seem to work out ok for me.. but if i should change character to make the team work better please suggest someone. sorry for the overwhelming noobishness that i'm sure people will be quick to point out haha

well that depends on whether or not you want to be up in their face and tanky like jarvan or yorick. or be in the back out of reach like ashe and the rest of your gang.

But yeah, it's always frustrating when people don't talk in chat in character select sometimes. You ask everyone what they want to play to find out what you may be (since I'm typically open to play everything). They don't say anything so you make your picks. Then they pick the one thing you don't need and ***** about lanes and it makes you just want to punch them through the monitor.
"I have no farm, why am I bot lane? Don't know why you went Brand when I picked Kassadin I should of got solo."
THIS ISN'T NORMALS KASSADIN, BRAND WAS SECOND PICK AND YOU WERE LAST RARAGHAGHGGH.

Also had a stupid run of Ranked games.
Win 3 straight by having 2 decent teams and 1 game I hard carried (something like 17-3-9 as Anivia).
Then proceed to lose 3 straight by:

Super Troll Janna, I'm jungle amumu, we start out 3-0 laning phase. Janna continually last hits and nado's creeps keeping bot pushed. Ult's people out of my ult or out of ganks or initiations. Really frustrating game.
Decent game we lost simply due to mistakes that the other team capitalized on. <- I don't mind these games.
I know it should all balance out, but it definitely feels like I get way more leavers on my team than the enemy's team heh.

Leavers are the absolute worst
1 little thing I think needs to be fixed on jax and that's that his ****ing ult needs to not trigger spell vamp. Passive magic damage triggers should not trigger on-cast effects 
. I know this is really minor, but it drives me about as crazy as Rylai's affecting Cho's Vorpal spikes. So stupid to break your game's rules for no good reason.
But in general I think Jax is probably close to fine. He's stupid when he's the last man standing, but I feel like that's what he's supposed to do. Just kill his ***. The only real problem is that he has too many good matchups in a solo lane. He should be more difficult to get to godmode.

When you're starting out, there's still a lot of the game to experience. For example, you probably won't understand how Morgana works until she kicks your *** in lane and you decide to look her up on the website (that's how it worked for me anyways haha).
For now, you should work on really basic things.
1) Work on getting better at "last hitting." Last hitting is attacking a creep right when it has little enough health left that you kill it. By killing the creep you get money that you can use to buy your items. Many times, it's better to just last hit creeps instead of constantly attacking them so that you don't end up too far from your tower (which is referred to as "pushing your lane").
2) Learn how to position in team fights. It sounds like right now you like "squishy" champions (champs with low defense but high damage output), so you should focus on standing behind the tankier people and attempting to attack the enemies that offer the most threat to your team. This comes with time.
3) You said you looked up some builds, and I would encourage you to try different ones in different games just so that you can become more familiar with what they all offer. Maybe one game you'll go IE rush; maybe another you can go for a Black Cleaver or Bloodthirster. In the end, IE is the best damage item for Ashe, but you can still experiment with others for future reference.
4) Also on the topic of building, even if you're playing a damage champion you should usually get some sort of defense item. More often than not you're going to want Banshee's Veil; it gives you health, mana, magic resistance, and a passive that blocks a hostile spell which recharges every 45 seconds. (Side note: Baron and Dragon can also remove this shield, just so you're aware.) On ranged carries (like Ashe), it's sometimes good to buy 2 or 3 Doran's Blades early on before attempting a larger damage item; they make you slightly stronger and they give you health and lifesteal, which offer you survivability and sustainability respectively.
I could go on, but just try to focus on those things for now. You can always come in here and ask more specific questions; there are a bunch of people here that love this game and love to talk about how much they know about it
