wow, that's so weird. no idea why it would be implemented differently than the other rare skins =\.
I would say your team lineup probably needs more variety, but the addition of a 6th WW makes up for it.
They should give it to you. I didn't even get an argument about it. Took them about a half-week to resolve it but they gave it to me no questions asked.

But yeah... you should always get hero free with skin so I figure that's just the bugged automated compensation system.

Whoa... I've never seen that. When I got my Nightmare Cho'gath skin I also got the champ.
Man wtf no Monkey King.

He's awesome at his job as an anti-mage, and as long as he's chosen for that purpose then he does great.
He's anti anybody who does magic damage if you build him right. I have countered melee w/ Bloodrazors by making Bloodrazor + Executioner's Calling with him before.
...I'm not gonna go ahead and say something absolute like "building for auto-attackin on Kass is ********," but strategies that resolve around attacking with Kassadin have proven highly ineffective and purely in my experience.

So at the end of Champ select in Ranked I get "League of Legends has lost connection with Maestro. The application will now terminate." It closed and I logged back in and I lost 10 ELO cause apparently I dodged. Cool.

50, but that doesn't actually make up for his lack of a steroid or survivability skill or being ranged. If any of those things were different, there would be a vague case to be made that there's some viability there, but as it is, it's pretty much just a way to make lichbane more attractive on him IMO.
Mogwai, he does have an AS steroid if magic damage is being dealt to him.
Hence him being super troll status against melee with Bloodrazor.

Isn't there a high-ish ELo player that mains AD Kass?
I can see why he wouldn't be viable but at the same time, on paper, a highly mobile champion with an innate Magic damage reducing passive(that is an AD steroid), a long *** targetable silence, AOE nuke slow, and physical damage boosting ability seems like he'd be a great assassin that was flexible enough to be built either way. But then in game AP Kass is clearly better.

I dunno maybe. Hyr0 is like 2K+ and stacks tiamats on Jarman and thinks it's good because the character is so hilariously OP that you can get away with pretty much anything.
I think the true moral of the story is that great players can do great things even with subpar builds.
That said, AD Kass with some magic pen still hits like a truck early to shut down mages and the AD lets him deal more damage between cooldowns to said mages, so it's not like it's terrible.

Felt saucy so I bought Tryndamere and the King Tryndamere skin (always been one of my favorite looking skins in the game).
First game ever playing him I get into hyper carry mode with double Phantom Dancer, Infinity Edge, Black Cleaver, Stark's Fervor, Bloodthirster and penta my way out of a 1v5 through two ignites, an exhaust, a Warwick ult and Xin's knockup. They were far ahead of us in kills, farm, towers but not dragons. We were just able to hold out till I turned on. They aced us, were marching to take our second inhib when I spawned first and ghosted to get there before they took it. You have slain an enemy... Double kill! Triple kill! Quadra kill! Penta kill!
It was the single most fun I have had playing this game to date.

Nasus mid is just silly if he's against a character that won't straight up kill him. Start out with regen pendant + hp pot, QQQQQQQQQQQQQ, don't die, get Philostone, QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ, kill incoming gank attempts, QQQQQQQQQ, Triforce, QQQQQQQQQQQQQQ.
Most disappointed I've ever been at a surrender was the other day when I was above 250 bonus dmg on Q at 21:05.
The mention of Tryndamid made me think about it. I also did solo lane Yi once and went 13-0 without a need for late game. Those characters in solo lane, if successful, are just hilarious.

Healing debuffs would be good, but even with range he can still get scary. I didn't lose the lane the one time I had to lane against him, but it was constantly a threat and I think I lost quite a bit of cs because of it

normal is kind of a joke... i suggest you don't play normal if you want a serious game with real competition.

this was a normal game, obviously...
He can wait out the heal; Kat's and MF's no longer lasts forever. If he goes all crit and Offense early and has ignite, he can kill almost any squishy out of position (mainly, when harassing him while he all ready has bloodlust stacks). He is much more formidable in a solo against squishies than people suspect.
Now, against tanky (especially tanky dps) he has troubles, particularly Garen.
Just got trolled hard in a ranked game. Nocturne gets ganked doing red by nunu. 2 of our players went into a rage and said "gg free week noct sucks" and the noct said "fine, no ganks for you" and he just jungled and stood around the entire rest of the game. then the ali and irelia went crazy and raged for 36 minutes straight. then the alistar fed intentionally. I asked everyone to just chill out and play and then they flamed me too. I had to report 3 players and sit around 36 minutes to lose rating points.
So irritating. This community blows.

Yes. Use /mute and expect to lose 40% of your games (if you're good).
I'm gonna come in here late and just say that Mogwai is 100% right on Olaf.
Late game olaf comes out of every fight with full health. He may end up being 1 vs 5, but he's going to last a good 20-30 seconds (assuming enemy ults are then down and the enemy team doesn't have vayne/kog). Poppy is crazy and pretty much the only ranged carry who can handle her late game is Ezreal. I never worry about tryn if we have an exhaust or two and a stun or two as well... he really isn't that unstoppable - but he snowballs hard.
Noc isn't overpowered.
He's actually weakish. He's still a really good jungler though as a jungler, and similar utility as TF in some regards (he's like, one of the best champs in the game if you happen to down to only your nexus and you have to have someone killing creeps while the rest of your team pokes 4v5). But like... you can't rush warmogs and faceroll and then faceroll harder once you get atmas any more, imo - the damage nerfs were noticeable.
