I just think a raka build with no AP is a waste of her scaling. Melee APs like Rumble and Kennen manage just fine with tanky AP builds, and they have less survivability in their kits than Raka.

Except you cant focus on her scaling all the time because if Raka is dead her scaling doesnt do ****. Better off abusing her insane innate utility and actually living than getting 1 big heal and two Q's off then dying.

The reason he went for more bulk is so she would live better and last longer in team fights.

She wants long team fights which is only possible if you build bulky.

Speaking of Soraka is she officially gutted with 4,8 ? I don't get why Riot would nerf the damage on starcall instead of changing its range to a Corki-like aoe with a shorter range and a wider radius.
I mean from what I read on s@20 they hate dedicated healers and like counterplay, so what's the point of nerfing every damage ability then buffing her heals ?

Imagine how much better things would be if heals (and maybe shields) scaled with team mate's armor or mr for how much it gave. New item streams that involve reducing the healing reduction from armor/resist to make those characters easier to align.

tl;dr 1000 heal on someone with 100 resist is 500, while on 200 armor is 333.

I don't mind the Raka nerfs. The reason why they nerfed her is because she's largely non interactive and she's easy to play. I agree with the philosophy that champions that are simple shouldn't have good numbers. That's why I never had an issue with Lee Sin or Nid, because their numbers are balanced by their mechanical requirement, and in Nid's case weak laning. Raka had good numbers with good laning, good scaling and she's easy to play, so I think nerfs were warranted.

It's not that the nerf weren't warranted, everyone saw how obnoxious she was in mid lane.
No I'm talking about how rito had the choice between making a simple and good character hard to play and good or simple and bad.

They chose the later by adding a little "we're gonna rework her this year unless we don't" when some simple changes to her skills could have added some depth to her playstyle.
I don't even play Soraka, but that's not how you fix problems.

Now that I'm done with my rant, holy shiek that ult buff on Cho Gath is amazing.

dedicated healers are only annoying when they can shrug off all your harass in lane. soraka's heals are designed to work best in teamfights and not be that great in lane.

Soraka nerfs aren't that big of a deal.. Since they buffed how more often Soraka can heal. They just tuned Soraka to be more so picked for heal utility and made lane pushing take 1 more Q.

soraka damage got gutted so she cant push your entire creep wave for a grand total of 80 mana over the course of 2 seconds

I kind of see why they changed what they did shading wise, some of the shading on the old one doesn't match well and seems, well 90's anime shading with random darkened areas with really no sense of lighting.

But compared to the new one, it's way too darkened and bland.

I like the style of the new one better, but I dont like how they left out so many details, especially on his mace/guitar.

Hey guys just wondering if someone could clarify how armour shred is calculated in relation to personal armour pen. I know that flat pen is calculated before %pen, with the exception of LW, whose %pen is calculated before flat pen. So the order is LW%pen-flatpen-%pen. What I want to know is where %shred fits into that. I assume it comes after the flat pen.

The reason I ask is because I want to know that when I play Wukong, if I'm lowering the amount of armour I'm shredding for my teammates by building LW. Even Wukong's Q would lower the armour shredded for my teammates because it's probably calculated before the armour shred. If these factors actually lower your armour shred for teammates, and consequently your utility, it leaves in a dilemma as to whether to itemise selfishly or for the team.

So are there any other ADCs besides Ashe that can get away with being used as Support?
I like the idea of supporting while eventually developing into a second ad carry as opposed to the more popular developing into a second ap carry.

Quinn is an okay support. Cuz knock up, blind, and vision. Also, her passive allows for decent poke/burst. Problem is she falls off SUPER HARD late game as a support if you dont get kills in lane lol.

I chose Froggen for my mid (though I don't care enough for the fantasy crap to switch **** around or check it much) I had team dignitas and some dig players on my team I think.
