I used little Mac, that stage is pretty flat. Also did the recover life for every person you kill. And I think super armor maybe. Ike is the hard part, he likes to counter so throw out some counters of your own.

Smash wise, the two other biggest strongholds seem to be Resident Evil (supposedly a reference to the crows that appear in those games) and Edelgard because she's leader of the Black Eagle house. Based on comments made, there's like a 95% chance that it isn't Fire Emblem related and I honestly agree with what someone said in our Discord, if Three Houses were to get a rep, for better or for worse, it would all but certainly be Byleth. Fire Emblem has always done the lead characters first.

also TWEWY music, but I'm hoping that'll be for Neku if he somehow gets in. they better not give him the short end of the stick somehow like only 2 songs or a pre rendered FMV final Smash

Far be it from me to question symbolism. I feel like you could get a better hint for resident evil out of, say a picture of an umbrella, or heck, if you want to be obtuse: a raccoon.

I think it would be better if the SMRPG gang was fighting off all the other villains in the roster or Galeem and they struggle half way through nearly defeated only to be saved by Geno who decides to take care of the threat himself.

Fighting Galeem and Galeem-controlled fighters would be interesting. It’d serve as a parallel to Hero facing off against Dharkon-controlled fighters in his trailer.

Tbf tho, that scenario would fit in with almost any character’s reveal trailer at this point but I can see Geno’s utilizing it best

But Robin was the main character while Chrom was the main lord. Marth, Roy, and Ike were the main lords in their respective games but they were also the focal point of the narrative. Story wise, it predominately focused on Robin. Back in Smash 4, we assumed that avatars were totally off the table, even after Villager got added and because the Gematsu leak said Chrom was going to happen.

Chrom was the main character for two thirds of the game. The Robins didn't pick up in importance until the last arc.

I think out of all the trailers that could be continued upon, the idea of Geno joining Samus at the end of that Ridley reveal trailer would be my favorite. It kind of echoes what was brought up many pages back with Mega Man and Samus being present with the Geno Mii costume. A nice way to tie things together.

Although seeing Geno in a forest setting similar to Hero would also make sense, and work well given that they're both Square characters.

We just got Hero and it's presentation was not too long ago. I feel we should strive for the future AFTER Banjo comes out. We may get an "announcement of an announcement" at EVO but other than that, not much.

I would like if it was Geno or an alluding moment to him but I doubt it.

The starling or whatever rumors/leak around are not a set piece of confirmation considering how out there it seems and like some people said "it is a reaching reach".

Hopefully it means good in the long run but a sure thing? I don't think so.

I was in the camp that we would absolutely not hear anything about DLC for months because sakurai only confirmed the list like 2 weeks before ultimate came out, yet we got a Joker announcment the DAY of release lol.

Im in the camp that expect nothing, be ready for anything. Its a good a chance Ultimate may use EVO for this. They put Smash up as their top and final game there, it would certainly be odd if we got nothing at all

Anyway, papagenos made a vid on this a while ago. Days ago, VRPlant (who had a flawless record and STILL does) said that Neopolitan from RWBY, Yumi from Senran Kagura, and Akatsuki from Akatsuki Blitzkamf would come to BBTag.

So all of that happened, plus Blitztank. He also said Hero was coming soon, and then Hero came out days later. Look up his record, it's actually spotless. Also, if anyone says VRPlant said something and PapaGenos DIDN'T make a vid about it, it's fake new. Sabi got tricked by that and accidentally spread misinformation about things VRPlant had said.

Springman and Rex just didn't get it and then were promptly overlooked for DLC as well (I don't Springman ever even had a chance honestly). If they want to represent Three Houses, I'm sure they'd approach it differently now that we have so many main line lords and avatars already in the game and would be looking for someone who represents something else. Edelgard checks the boxes of an Axe wielder, non-avatar, and popular all at once. Again, if they decide to do something with Three Houses, I think she'll be the pick. Incineroar was chosen over Decidueye for Sakurai's personal reasons, but I think his statements indicate he'd do another FE rep differently than in the past too.
