Fun fact: there have been rumors of a new Guilty Gear game.

It could be that, or it could be the Godzilla game they are working on, or Persona 5 Arena....or maybe something we know nothing about!

True, but it strikes me as odd that you wouldn't announce that sort of thing when you know every Arksys fan has there eyes on you. I saw tons of people and the chat hoping for an announcements like Guilty Gear P5A, so it would've been a great time. Makes me think that whatever it is they are going to announce, they want to catch the eyes of some other audience. Could be a guest character for Tekken of Smash. Could be an entirely new game based off a property from the likes of Capcom or Nintendo! Who knows. I just want to explore the possibilities that this top tier anime fighting developer has layed before us.

Ugh, I keep losing at the Hero's Comrades spirit battle for the Spirit Board. I was able to get the others with no problem, but I just keep losing. Any strategies you guys could recommend?

I used little Mac, that stage is pretty flat. Also did the recover life for every person you kill. And I think super armor maybe. Ike is the hard part, he likes to counter so throw out some counters of your own.

But Robin was the main character while Chrom was the main lord. Marth, Roy, and Ike were the main lords in their respective games but they were also the focal point of the narrative. Story wise, it predominately focused on Robin. Back in Smash 4, we assumed that avatars were totally off the table, even after Villager got added and because the Gematsu leak said Chrom was going to happen.

As someone that loves Awakening (I think it's obvious with the profile pic) I can say that Robin isn¨t the main character. Sure, there is a mystery towards Robins origin and his/her condition but the overall focus is about Chrom and the reason Lucina is there. Robin is to Chrom what Jarvis is to Iron Man while having a bigger role in the last third only. And as someone that has been spoiled about Three Houses... Edelgard is someone on par with Robin in terms of importance but in a different point of view. When you know her role in the game it makes sense why she is the most pushed of the three lords (outside of being "waifumaterial") and because of this, could be one argument for a spot whenever/if at all Three Houses gets a rep someday

I don't know the exact timing. Sabi shared them publicly about a week and a half before E3. I don't remember the timing of when they were shared in the group or if he shared them privately with Sabi beforehand. I do know that our first intel about Banjo came to us in mid April when Sabi shared info from two of her other sources, with one of them telling us that Steve was pretty much leakbait from the start. They were essentially an ambassador for Microsoft which is why it immediately grabbed all our attention.

As someone who supposedly can't broaden my horizons, I can only do so much when I barely am able to see most of what's coming from Ninty and Sony news-wise, let alone what's going on in the leaking scene or majority of support threads.

Anyway, this situation is really strange if nothing's happening tonight. There's no unforeseen accidents delaying news that are being hinted at this time. For Jon's hinted news to be delayed is one thing, but Sabi's source? Something doesn't feel right here.

Also, I'm big into fighting games in general. My favorite genre of video games since I was a young tyke.

So, seeing that SNK is back? Seeing them come from the black of night and having more than just KoF? Seeing them supporting SamSho well into next year?

You gotta understand: this company has legendary games and characters, and most of them were behind pachinko games up until now.

Now SamSho is BACK BABEEEEEEEEEE!

EDIT: Also, Haohmaru in Soul Calibur 6 is HUGE, as that means big companies are doing crossovers with SNK.

Yeah makes sense. There are plenty of examples of Nintendo failing to do "no-brainer" hype things. Lately they've been a little better with them at least.

Also I think back to them releasing Hero this week and wonder why not save him for an Evo reveal? They easily could've waited a few extra days to show him here and say he's available after the tournament.

But who knows. Tonight will be interesting and we all need to keep in mind Geno isn't "banking" on an Evo reveal by any means whatsoever. We are still riding the wave of no mii costume, which is the best evidence of all in our favor
