if she headbutts too many times, can't you just regrab or hit them as they break out?
Sort of? Depends on the character. A floaty like Peach or Puff might get the aerial break and have a completely free escape from the whole CG. They're the ones I was thinking about especially with regards to this.

i was trying this with tilts before and as you said, i had perfect timing every once and while and it is not close to infinite. got some funny reactions tho "he's wobbling him with nana"
most players i did it to had problems mashing out because they did not expect it and i did 3-4 tilts sometimes

Good Stuff,
that's what wobbles is made of.

Anyone have advice vs Fox in neutral positions? Falco is tough too but if I predict him I feel like hes a lot easier to take advantage of than fox.

yeah i didn't do the 0-death chain grabs lol

so silly of a thing, you don't have to move with hand off and nana even moves back a little so if you want to walk forward you can.

i just wasn't ready for little bit of pressure and screwed up timing a lot :(

i thought so too but it appears to just be more likely to fthrow. it might depend where the wall is in relation to the edges of the map

Yeah, you don't typically try to do handoffs when they're right at the tree, but rather just somewhat close to it.

On an unrelated note, I need to get my mind back where it needs to be. I am confident I can do this.

For the past couple years, with a few exceptions, it's been calm and attentive. At the past couple tourneys, I feel like I've been antsier than usual and I've been having a harder time focusing, and I'm not entirely sure why. I wouldn't be surprised if it's due to just how little I've been playing lately; I've been to only a couple in the past three months. Fortunately, Socal's tourney scene is gaining steam again this month, so I should be sure of this soon if that is why. In any case, I got a couple good pointers from Wobbles. We'll see how everything goes.

Well the UCI tourney could be potentially my first tourney if I am able to go. I might make it out of pools if I somehow do good. I'm hoping to gain some experience. I'd like some pointers too if we happen to meet. Do you have a routine to calm yourself? Like a deep breath or something?

If I lose a round, I always take a lot of time to think about what I need to do better and, if necessary, to fully regain composure. Wobbles actually mentioned deep breaths as a good way of not getting overly flustered yesterday, so that's also likely good.

Excuse me for having two consecutive posts but do any of you guys have advice for someone that will go to their first tourney?

the most important thing is to play a lot and if you're really lucky find people that are better tahn you that might give you pointers on the game.. however, if you're really new, the advice may be pretty general...posting vids on the boards would actually probably be better. I wish that I had done that when I was starting..would have sped things up.

if a high level player is there, try to watch him play people you struggled with and ask yourself why he isn't struggling
