Hooray for ice cilmbers winning something, bout time IC's get noticed for winning more often.
And wow this 'bye' guy seems pretty pro, he got 4th place without even playing a character!
No one wants to play MK, coz it's like if u play MK ur a nub coz he's teh easy noob character. Which is exactly like bonez clinkz in dota. No one picks him, coz if u do, u get ridiculed for playing the noob hero.

And guys yeah i held a tourny at ma homies crib last night, yeah there were at least 100 people there, i came first with jigglypuff.

Because SA doesn't have 100 people residing.
I don't like the guy but he has a point. Plus I have had a tournament at my house with 15+ people and I came first with Jiggs and this is true. I still have the results on my laptop should I just post them now and it will count?
Besides, anyone at all can have a bunch of friends over and run some mini-tourney and they could all be scrubs but someone can come first with a crappy character. Say they do this every 2nd night, would that imply that a crappy character deserves a spot high on the list?
Just as long as they post the results everytime?

Or is this specific tournament at Attila's taken seriously because the people that played in it are actual smashers?

Sounds like these 'gatherings' are screwing with results too much_ Maybe put something in place as to what will be recognised as an official tournament or not_

They really don't (effect it). an 8 man tournament with an arbitrary $1 entry gives the first place character 0.8 points.

But I'm changing policy though. Actual entry fee needs to exist for zah future.
The reason why I considered 8 man tournaments before, was because Perth used to be really really bad.

Doesnt Perth have really big entry fee/prize money now? That'd help the Toon Link, and it would sorta cover the costs of travelling there. It was like $84 for second IIRC.

Whoever wins Rocky, their character will become No.1. This sentence will lose all meaning if a Snake or MK wins Rocky. dont let it happen Australia.
