Thats funny because my flame chokes are generally what lead to my friends throwing controllers... is it farked up that they almost refuse to play my Ganon...?

I can make them so angry with the choke that they become VERY predicatable, leading to more and more chokes.. and its very hard for me to NOT keep going for them when i know what they are going to do...

i get alot of :

"wow your so gay"

"good job you found a glitch" (talking about the Gerudo -> jab)

"ganon is so cheap"

I'm forced to random at this point to stop the ***** parade...

Umm..

Land a Side-B (gerudo) and then Jab them off the ground... (works on fatties)

the example i was talking about is when my friend was playing Ike, I decided i was going to be mean and landed maybe 15 - 20 Gerudo -> Jab "combos" on him... he didnt really enjoy that...

He called it a glitch because hes ********..


I probably just worded it weird sry..

Your friends are scrubs.

I can't believe you can put up with them.

Is there a point to playing scrubs? Bad players let you practice the traps and pressure strings you see from pros, but scrubs are worthless to us.

dude fighting scrubs can yield epic lulz. Like when my ****ty 4th Peach 3 stocks this Lucas and only takes 29% for the whole match:

I did enjoy the two taunts and calmly floating/walking by his pk-Ice move.
Lulz were had.

I got a yoshi way back in the day and only took 9% damage for the match

haha... well i have quite a few friends who play smash, some are better then the others... none of them "research" smash or read anything. The quotes were from a friend of mine who plays very casually, and takes extreme joy in "asshat" tactics; playing such characters like Pikachu(spam smashes and jolt), Lucario(spam roll, and AS), and ROB(fast jab, 2 projectiles)... he loves spamming (and for the record intoxication + spam = damage) and hes pretty **** good at it, if that makes any sense. Sorry not everyone who plays smash is fantastic.. am i going to refuse to play with him because he plays like a jerk (its hilarious/very frustrating) and doesn't play as much? sometimes its good powershielding and patience practice..

anyway..

I have some very decent friends, and several i go pretty much even with. the point of alll of this is..... not all my friends are bad, and they are my friends so i dont care i'll play with them regardless...

Ugh, I have proven yet again that I am incompetant in winning tournament matches. I do just fine in friendlies, but once serious business begins I begin to feel totally helpless. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I get way too nervous and start running into obvious traps thinking I have no other choice. I don't know how you guys keep your composure when you're playing tournament matches, but I get totally freaked out and I play terribly as a result.

and yes, I have tried not being Ganondorf, but that doesn't help the situation (I wasn't going anywhere near a Yoshi with Ganon, so I went Marth and lost by last stock, last hit. Needless to say, I raged at my incompetance).

Breezy and I finally met at a tournament and it was pretty awesome. We played some friendlies at the beginning and decided that whoever places higher in singles was the better Ganon main XD

I ended up winning our contest (I got 13th and Breezy got 17th I believe), but we're close enough in skill that it wouldn't really be fair to call me the better Ganon. We both did some really impressive **** - Breezy took a game off of Lain's icies in pools in perhaps the most epic game of the night, and I barely missed 1st seed in pools (Nappy won one more game than me, even though I beat him in our set), not to mention that I took a game off of Ally's Snake in a friendly before the tournament XD.

In short, M.A.S. pretty much got Ganon-***** yesterday.



And out of curiosity, does anyone actually go to tournaments regularly with Ganon, besides Breezy? I'm pretty sure that I'm the best-placing Ganon main in the country but I want to make sure first. I also feel I deserve to be a LOT higher on the Ganon tier list lol. I'll post my results here to prove it:

Even though I may not be the most active member on the Ganon boards, I feel that I represent Ganon the best at offline tournaments and in the competitive Smash scene out of anyone on this board. I go to tournaments with some excellent players and have made quite a name for myself (I'm pretty sure I'm the only Ganon main who is power ranked for his state)(edit: Breezy is as well), and placing as well as I do with Ganondorf is a very difficult thing to accomplish. So please consider this when reconsidering my placement on the Ganon tier list.


Edit: Breezy should be higher too :p

Also, for new awards I think we should have a best Ganon in teams if we don't already, and best "He shouldn't be beating him dorf" award.

I camp you and just **** you senseless but then ganon randomly gets inside, hits me like 3 times and its all caught up and I'm like 1 hit away from dying

and oh **** DLA thats good stuff. I would represent in tournies with Ganon, NO DOUBT, it's just that I live in DE and there are literally, no exaggeration, MAYBE ten consistent brawl players in the state, and I can whip so much *** with Ganon on all of them. My location really hurts me, because if I was in an active scene like you guys, I'd definitely be placing just like you two.

So now the first chance I get to represent him is at Pound, which is kinda bigger than expected for my Ganon tournament debut :/
