That's what I figured but I thought he was implying theres a special or case specific way. technically anytime at all that you're grounded you can get a ghetto CC.

/reading too much into things

Fox just requires the most consistency, so if you warm up using that, everything else sort of falls into place, at least for me.

I find it a good way to also get in the groove of momentum too, if I'm feeling particularly rusty. But I see what you're saying, my Falcon just consists of Nair OoS, DownThrow > Dair/SH Knee and it sucks.

I could be wrong, but I think that's what he meant.
You are correct.

Also, u-tilt has a bigger red bubble; when his foot retracts the big red bubble is still there. So it's way more disjointed at certain points. So aside from being more favourable for trades (because of ghetto CC), it's actually less likely to trade too. It also hits more in front of you than bair so it's generally more applicable (though doing it facing forward is not recommended unless they're FH approaching tbh).

Honestly, u-tilt is just retardedly good. It needs to be used more.

edit:

I love warming up with Fox dittos. Sheik vs space animal (as either character) is also pretty good but nobody will ever agree with me on that. Forcing yourself to have good ledge movement and an edge game, plus needing to move a lil' faster than normal to keep pace with him does good things for your hands. You also can't really sleep during tech chases or you'll drop them.

I see that a lot. When im out spaced and my opponent is right in front of me. I tend to utilt and the red bubble hits them.

Playing against falcon makes the game seem easy....atleast when you are on the offensive. He is so easy to combo and tech chase. I don't like warming up against falcon :)

^ I agree with. Falcon is probably the easiest matchup. Falco is probably the best way to warm up.

I think he is using a custom blue color or something, its a nice color imo; I can see it on my computer, but on my phone it shows up as black.

I however like warming up vs marth, he isn't as easy to combo and he has defense that forces you to approach with caution.

Marth is combo food for everybody though o.o
It can just be a little annoying getting a clean hit

Warming up against Marth is like foxes bread and butter.

I often times dashdance a lot to build up speed.

is dash dance - shine on opponents shield (you end up behind them) safe on shield?

Im not really sure what you mean but if you shine on your opponents shield and end up behind him you can get a free grab.

On the other hand, depending on the character, the opponent can evade you after they shield the shine.

True, but it all depends on the weight class of the character and how much frames it takes before the side step comes out and how fast you perform the move.

I posted late. and ended up on this page. We were talking about grabbing after shining your opponents shield on the previous page.

@Dart: You need to pick up your pace, tremendously. It's too easy to read you and you also play like you're deathly afraid of .. . .everything.

This isn't related to fox but my Mango thread only lasted for 4 hours... sob.

The theme was What makes mango tick. I wanted people to discuss about his success and how he became the player he is today. I figured people (intelligent people) would contribute some information about Mango like how he trains, whats his fav. character, e.t.c. But the first page was all about people saying (oh Mango drinks alcohol) e.t.c.) Im kinda mad cause it was supposed to be an intelligent thread.

heres the link.

Well I can tell you this much, people who say mango's power comes from beer/alcohol are mistaken.

I drink enough booze for 3 men and I'm no mango so I'm calling shenanigans
